I have an actual question about the position notice. How junior down the list does anyone think you can be and still hold some 3 day combination of days off between fri and mon on the 700 in DTW and the 700 in ATL AFTER this notice becomes effective? I know you can only guess but I need to hear some guesses.... also, is there anyway to see the awards for the DTW FOs if you are not based in DTW currently so I can do my own research?

Skywest has always owned and financed their own fleet. Asa used to be owned by delta and I think about 1/3 of their 200s were purchased by delta when delta owned them.

So NONE of the Skywest airlines' DCI 200s belong to DAL?

Crew member, bid awards..on xjet.com... U can see every sked.

Not a whole lot of commutable trips in DTW. Add a day front and back to very trip. People bidding DTW have no idea what they are getting into, especially commuting from ATL. But hey, I'm glad some fools are leaving IAD for Motown.

Don't come to Dulles! It sucks!

Based on the prelims, looks we got several more ATL commuters who are gonna give it a try. Even a few on there who have already tried it and bailed back to ATL. Second time is the charm I guess. Doesn't the early ATL-DTW EV flight go away starting in OCT?

Looks like the ATL-DTW commute is about to get even trickier. My bet is that the company increases the percentage of reserves due to all of the commuter calls.

Kinda doubt that since they already have it up to 25%.

I do NOT understand why these ATL pilots think they can swing the ATL-DTW commute! If I had the chance to live in base, even on reserve, I would do it in a heartbeat! I have never known that feeling and can only hope to someday. Commuting takes years off your life, why do it if you don't have to!? Especially THAT commute!

Don't matter! With this awesome base trade agreement we have these people can go back and forth as they please. Great for people that can't make up their minds! That ******************** needs to go!

Really, what is wrong with switching bases? If two people can agree on something and it costs the company nothing but a few admin keystrokes then who cares? Sure the guys junior to you might not like it but it sucks to be junior. I've been on the short end of the base swap stick and it is just part of life.
