Well, according to Cpt. X a JCBA is NOT necessary after December 31st. And ALPA has no say in the matter per the definition of "parties." Another oversight? Every "trump card" ALPA seems to have up it's negotiating sleeve seems to dissolve when said time occurs. Cpt. Moak said "the past is the past" but ALPA's past at CAL sure shows a trend. Granted this is my first contract to go through here, and under complicated circumstances, but I don't think I'm alone in saying ALPA's a## is really on the line with this one.

A JCBA isn't required to open new bases after the Transition Agreement expires at the end of this year. Another blunder from ALPA....along with Profit Sharing....and more to come.

They already showed up on CAL pilots' BES bid screen--for about an hour. Last time that happened was Jan for LAX. Had crews in there by May. This time it was 737s in Chicago and Denver.
