Rumor on another board says ASA will be transferring a lot of planes to MEM to replace some mainline planes that will be heading back to ATL to make sure Southwest is "pounded" in ATL. Could it be true? Do you guys like Memphis Barbeque?

Could be true. None of us know for sure but from the amount that the word is spreading, it'll probably be announced soon.

Memphis BBQ is OK but not good enough to get displaced there. Thanks for asking.

No, you are the only one getting "pounded" in ATL.

That's just not the case. It may be one of your dreams, though. This month I get to fly to Rio twice, and twice to Paris.

Regardless, it's an interesting rumor, and I am sure Delta is preparing for Southwest to come to town. SWA already announced less departures per day in ATL, (down to 175) and mainly point to point stuff.

Why do you care? You don't work here. Another example of what a pathetic, low life, pot stirring, no life, bully loser you are.

It's a credible rumor, and yes it's a contingency laid out, reactionary to SWA moving in. It would place just about all the segments within the allotted mileage of a hub on a single class aircraft. Those dual class aircraft would move to ATL to place the max amount of seats there.

It's just a rumor though...

A little more than a rumor. That is exactly what Scott Hall is saying in recurrent.

Although, I will admit, rumors usually are more accurate than what Scott Hall says in recurrent.
