Sure it is true. Why not. All their Captains keep their seat so why shouldn't the F/O's go to the bottom. If they are upset with that they should tell ALPA ohterwise live with it. Apparently most of them agree with this agreement and it will show after the vote.

How is that bad form? He's stating the obvious. When it comes to negotiating, especially with SWA, we are total pu$$ies! We got a pathetic 1.25 overide for our FOs from the company. This deal costs them nothing, and we gave up all leverage by settling so quickly. It's sad how SWAPA gets steamrolled every time we negotiate anything (TA1, TA2, SL8, and now SL9.)

Actually the 1.25 rate is only for parings other than ATL and only if a FO is flying with a AT Capt that is junior to him. So between the seat lock and the fence what are the realistic chances of anyone being paid that rate.......

The chances are exactly why GK allowed this in. It looks good on paper, yet will cost the company nothing, just like the seniority "boost". It will be used as another "gain" to sell it to the membership.

The funniest part of this, is the fact that our guys are saying the same thing about our MEC.
