Honest idea. Go to the bottom quietly and lets call it even. :)

LMAO! You are one of the SWA blowhards that is really going to be pissed off when SLI is complete. I will be here to laugh in your face when the time comes.

Keep on blowing your self-righteous, holier-than-thou, better than others, jackwad B.S. It just makes the SWA Pilots look like arrogant fools.

I put a smiley face. :) I guess an Angus wouldn't get that. Especially a young bull that wants to run down and get a cow. Us older bulls know that it is better to walk down and get them all.

Rush in to quick and to hard and you won't get a lifetime of joy. It's your choice. Careful that you are looking long term. Your future at SWA isn't a sure deal. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth is all I am saying.

! The funny thing is, the ones that probably will be are the ones that just hit the career earnings jackpot. Which is just sad :(.

PW

Career earnings jackpot?? Will YOU.... or better yet will SWA Management GUARANTEE in writing that same "career earnngs jackpot" to EVERY AAI Pilot that you speak of?? That will mean NO FURLOUGHS and GUARANTEED PAY for the career of each AAI Pilot.

Can that be arranged??

If NOT... then all SWA have to offer is SENIORITY. Nothing more... nothig less.

Get over yourselves. Some of the SWA Pilots on Flightinfo are the village idiots speaking about things that they may feel strongly about... but have NO substance when you talk about the aviation industry.

SWA won't promise you no furlough during your career but 38 years of history is a pretty strong indicator that we look after our people. As far as guaranteed pay goes I would say that the chances of a 60% paycut is far fetched. Swa would have to give about that much of a paycut to us before you lost a dollar over what you would have made stand alone.

Argue your points to an arbitrator if you think they will stand up. I don't care to debate with someone that obviously doesn't understand what they fell into here.

Because YOU feel you won the lottery doesn't mean that everyone that is in this industry feels the same. AAI Pilots didn't "fall" into anything. AAI Pilots helped BUILD a P.O.S. airline into something big enough that the LARGEST domestic Airline in the U.S. was WILLING to BUY.

You bought AAI... now deal with it. Part of that deal will be to INTEGRATE the Pilots into your little fantasyland. That integration is going to really piss off alot of SWA Pilots. That integration is NOT going to be to simply "go to the bottom quietly" as you have stated.... even with your stupid internet geek smiley face.

Don't like it.... call Gary and tell HIM not me or not AAI Pilots. Call your management or STFU...

Gearup "lottery boy".

Man, you REALLY have that "FI Newbie" smell. Rico, is that you?

ATN-ALPA and SWAPA have both asked their Pilots to not make posts advertising their SLI expectations. You're a junior FO, we get it. Take your low self-esteem elsewhere.
Has nothing to do with low self-esteem, life is good for me right now and will continue to be just that after this is all over with. Also wasnt advertising MY SLI expectations. Sorry anyone took it that way. And No, not a junior FO by any means.

On a more even keeled level- Swa had every reason to furlough at least 200 in 2009 and chose not to bc they value us as people and from a business standpoint know that they have us for 30 years- a year salary now equals a career worth of loyalty- believe me- you want to work for this company and the people in it.

Did your company make that same choice? Could you even imagine them making it?

The aggression on either side is dumb and confusing at the same time--- I hope everyone notices this has gone to 15 pages largely through 15 guys who clearly don't get laid enough needing an outlet- most I've met are cautiously happy and excited about the future

Angus,
I'm guessing you weren't one of the 1/3 of your pilot group that should up on a random night to say thank you to Swapa for your lottery ticket. Thats OK. You may not say it outloud, but you will appreciate what you may inherit.

SWAPA Leadership is MUCH more bright than you LotteryBoy. They are smart enough to realize that THEY are NOT providing a "lottery ticket" to AAI Pilots. Only YOU and most likely some other SWA Pilots with lower intellect have and will come to that silly self analysis.

I would say THANK YOU to SWAPA for having more class than YOU and several other SWA Pilots on these forums by actually WELCOMING the AAI Pilots, and MEANING it.

Unlike you and others on Flightinfo who keep insisting or better yet INSINUATING that somehow AAI Pilots are lower class Pilots and non-deserving EXCEPT in your "Winning a lottery ticket" scenario.

Get over yourself Spaz. You are an embarrasment to SWAPA, the SWA Pilots, and to other hard working Pilots in this industry as a whole.

You bring NOTHING to the table except seniority.

Gearup LotteryBoy....
