Standby, we went from PBS to an in house based bidding system. That is the big change. Some like and some don't, similar to PBS.
 
Flex is not in the business of providing jobs for pilots. They are in the business to make as much profit as they possibly can. If thought firing more pilots would make them more $ then they would glady do it.

This attitude is the problem we face today as humans. Pofits above all else isn't a smart way to sustain business as well as life. The paradigm is shifting, buy your tickets here.
 
Really?? I know of a few airlines that have been in the red for decades. That is how they run and prevent pay increases.


Sure seems like it, but a business cannot survive without profits at some point.

You can borrow and raise capital to keep the pony running for awhile, but these options run out if no profits are generated and then you enter the bankruptcy zone.
 
That's right Gret, they file bankruptcy. Dump debt, retirements, etc and start over. Been there, done that (twice).
