That would be nice for Flex families. I'll keep my fingers crossed ... :)

Lubbock, Souix falls, Lincoln, Hickory, Pellston, Marshall, Imperial, and ManHattan are a few of the new bases.

Lubbock...Texas? I grew up in the Texas panhandle. Nice people, but the only scenic attraction is Palo Duro Canyon, IMO. Of course, if a pilot has family in the area and wants to be in that location it will work out and there's Texas Tech when the kids need to go to college.

It's a given that there should be a balance between company needs and those of the pilotgroup; I don't know how Flex went about choosing the bases but I do hope that some on the list will appeal to pilots interested in moving. Either way, it's nice to have more choices... :) Good luck to the Flex families, NJW

Regardless of what locations are on the final list, my thoughts about the process remain the same and so do my hopes that the Flex pilotgroup will benefit from having more choices.

Congrats to the Avantair pilots and families!

Avantair..ha, I guess they have the big pee pees on the block now?! WTF is the world coming to!!;) The good news it that NJA is quiet now!

You guys (avantair) are hijacking threads now like the NJet tools use to...Of course, I know you're not that gay! Look what all that smack talk got em..furloughed

Given the avatar(s), I must confess that I get half-a-stalk every time I see NJW posting. Reminds me of when I met Derinda...

Hijack away.

-No recalls planned.

-They say that they don't want to increase the yield.

-There's no real explanation as to how we're covering peak this year.

Same way they're doing it now. 13-14 hour day, 10 hours rest. Rinse and repeat as necessary until end of rotation. Thank you sir, may I have another!

I don't think even that will carry us very far. We're doing that now, and demand isn't that high.

I predict the yield goes to 17+ days, and that 16 hours becomes standard on our last day.

Know the rest rules, play it straight, don't be afraid to use the F word.

Flex-Ible,

We are very much looking forward to 84 out of the 85 furloughed pilots coming back to work. There was 1 however, that wore out his welcome a long time ago.

Excellent advice. It never ceases to amaze me how short-sighted some managers can be. Hopefully they soon realize pilots aren't machines and will bring back some of the furloughed guys. Perhaps your pilot reps can explain that it is in no one's best interest to push to the brink the person at the controls. Best wishes to all the Flex pilots and families. NJW

Sorry, I've forgotten what your liason council, committee, etc is called... The elected and/or volunteer leaders of the Flex pilotgroup...those guys...:) Perhaps they can bring the issue forward at their next meeting w/management?
