Looks like all 409 current Compass pilots and 108 Mesaba pilots get to flow up to Delta if they choose. Congrats to all involved, now and in the future.

Good for Delta to help out Compass and Mesaba pilots.
Hey General,
Is it true at Delta that if the face to face portion of the interview is a fail, you can never reapply?
Ahhhh, then its not a flowthru. Thats a preferential interview for a job. Thats what US Airways gave us...

LOL! Stupid Captains. If only they had any idea just how bad they are gonna get reamed up the rear once this whole Pinnacle 'asset transfer' and Colgan merger happen...Some of the top Mesaba guys apparently want to stay Captains and don't want to come over to DL, which is up to them.
It will go down the list and whichever 108 guys want it first, get to go.

.... but decided to post anyway.
Delta still planning on taking 600 next year? This would allow them to do it without hiring off the street, though I think I remember reading they can't take all the Compass guys all at once.
why 108 from Mesaba? Why not 110 or 150?
The rumors are for a lot of hiring. Only 25% of the Compass list can flow in a rolling 12 month period.
Per the original agreement Mesaba was allowed to flow 9 pilots per month so under the LOA they are allowed to flow one year's worth of pilots to Delta (9 pilots x 12 months= 108 pilots). I'm amazed that anybody would bypass the flow at Mesaba. I know there have only been 2-3 pilots at Compass that have bypassed in the 60ish or so people that have already gotten seniority numbers.
Not even all of the 108 can flow because they do not have degrees.
Ummm, help Mesaba guys? I call it a big screw job for hundreds of Mesaba pilots. Not even all of the 108 can flow because they do not have degrees. I would not mind finding out who was behind that decision and giving them the ..... we shall say my opinion on why it was a bad decision. Please hope American and United (Continental) start hiring within three years
