Ahhhh, then its not a flowthru. Thats a preferential interview for a job. Thats what US Airways gave us...

There is NO face to face interview for any of the Compass guys, and the 108 Mesaba guys get to come over via seniority. Some of the top Mesaba guys apparently want to stay Captains and don't want to come over to DL, which is up to them. It will go down the list and whichever 108 guys want it first, get to go. No interview for them either. (that is what I have heard anyway ;))

Hey General,

Is it true at Delta that if the face to face portion of the interview is a fail, you can never reapply?

I believe that is correct.

LOL! Stupid Captains. If only they had any idea just how bad they are gonna get reamed up the rear once this whole Pinnacle 'asset transfer' and Colgan merger happen...

Jumping ship to Delta is probably the best thing you could do. I know it will be a paycut for 1 to 2 years, and a cut in days off, but you will lose much more by staying. Let me tell you, working for Phil T is not fun. Nor is it a career.

Nope, delta wanted a firm cutoff point on the Mesaba seniority list. They added 108 numbers (9/mo x 12 months) to the most senior pilot that hadn't yet flowed or bypassed. So exactly how many more flows there will be depends on how many people bypass.

Delta still planning on taking 600 next year? This would allow them to do it without hiring off the street, though I think I remember reading they can't take all the Compass guys all at once.

The rumors are for a lot of hiring. Only 25% of the Compass list can flow in a rolling 12 month period.
