So... what have you done for your industry lately???

This is the most arrogant, self-righteous, ego-inflated statement I have heard since I acidentally stumbled across Rush Limbaugh on the radio last summer.
Let me ask you something B19, are you trying to change people's minds, or just score points? If the former, it is wise to first establish some kind of a dialogue before you present your arguments, and then present them in a manner that your audience can relate to. You need to show them that you care about them, and that you can appreciate their point of view.
If you are just trying to score points, then you sound like a partner in a bad marriage. Just for fun, and in keeping with your level of manners, I'll take the opposite side! SHUT UP!!!!!

Waco, I was on the work groups that helped to create the rulemaking that ultimately wound up as 91K amongst other things. This is the truth, deal with it. It's not self righteous, it was many hours of travel to and from 800 Independence Ave., coupled with countless hours of research involving legal interpretations, preambles and public comments, editing and submissions that just are the tip of the iceburg in the process. I get tired of those telling me I don't care.. I do care more than you'll ever know and my reasons have little to do with the individual income of a union pilot. It revolves around watching an entire industry get shredded by unions. So, needless to say... I've helped you more than you will ever help me. And that's the simple truth.

So... what have you done for your industry lately???

Who cares. How about you try to stay on topic?... or you can always go start a new "Who thinks B19 Flyer is an Aviation God?" thread. Geez

Hmmmm,
I voted in a union to help protect us from morons like you.
I voted a union in to help protect us from the moronic rules you set up and the company exploits.

Might not be the highest paid, but its in writing. So people like B19 can't have their way with us.

This is possibly the most unintentionally funny thing I've read on the internet...

Well, to be fair, B19 doesn't think himself an "Aviation God."

Perhaps a demi-god, or minor deity.

After all, he invented the rotary engine, and the breast implant.

You voted in a union that has the president begging for a yes vote because he knows that three years worth of promises isn't represented in the TA. You blame others for everything that fails because you ain't got the nuts to stand up on your own so you feel the mob mentality solution is the only way.

If you think it's so easy to accomplish rulemaking, start getting your daily Federal Register updates and put your 2 cents in where it belongs. Make it better for everybody, not just selfish little (is that Beavis or Butthead?) self.

Spoken by somebody that couldn't find a federal register entry or preamble if it was tatooed on him. Yes, I find that funny.

What I also find funny is your esteemed union president finding it necessary to lower himself to lobby on a message forum for the ratification of a tentative agreement. It should stand on it's own, if it's good enough and he has the confidence in it, it should take care of itself.

Welcome to the union world folks.

Who cares. How about you try to stay on topic?... or you can always go start a new "Who thinks B19 Flyer is an Aviation God?" thread. Geez

I've been trying to stay on topic.

Your union president is acting like a used car salesman trying to shove something down your union throats by resorting to posting on message boards. I just used the example that I do care, have cared and always will care. I've stated for years about my involvement in the rulemaking process and why I'm so interested about the fracs. Do any of you even know how to look at the NPRM process? I doubt it.

All the while the non-union fracs just keep chugging along...

It's not bad enough the the company is going to suffer through the union process, the union president is now trying to sell something that shouldn't have to sold to the members. Welcome to the union world folks.

...or perhaps just an idol. I think his avatar might be his likeness!
