F9 pilots need to see how much SWA really wants the deal.

NWA pilots didn't stop the DAL/NWA deal from proceeding and still got a fair deal in the end.

Titanium nerves. Go throw up in the trash if you have too but keep a steady hand and play it till the fat lady sings F9, otherwise you will be the SWA bitches the rest of your careers and you will always be told how good your crap sandwich tastes.

Great Advice from someone with no dog in the fight. Why not just tell them to buy SRS ( 3x short Commercial real estate) Might be good idea might not, but I sure am not going to tell someone else how to gamble everything. JMO

PS no mater they will be no bitch . They will be treated very well.

Apparently 'Da Judge' has spoken and wants a labor deal in place by midnight tonight

You guys better tell your FAPA union prez to start nodding his head yes to everything, or say hello to RJ heaven. I hear that lots of guys have retired from Republic as millionaires. Not.

Maybe the F9 guys would rather go to Republic. They might not get stapled there...and they could be pulling gear for some 24 year old EMB 145 Captain. Sounds like a better deal huh?

Also heard that about half the F9 folks have apps in at WN and were looking to come to the bottom of the list anyway.

You will get pay protected and Denver for you. So what do you have to lose?

This will be no Morris deal for F9. You take the staple and you stay on the bottom--IF you're lucky.

I love the SWA people but I got the "lucky to have a job" thrown in my face (until, of course, I got laid off) and it's bull$h!t.

If the SWA guys really want to treat them fair, go to arbitration and make your case. You might be pleasantly surprised.

But, this "we F'ed you because we could" thing is just another word for 'seat grab'.

Good luck to all.

TC

I hope to see all F9 guys on our senority. You will not be remided about anything. We all came here our own way. I will say welcome aboard lets get 123 my treat. Heck I will even buy premium stuff for F9 guys the first year if they so like. Once you are on the list regardless were...WELCOME. Lets put it behind us and enjoy.

I will buy premium too!

HMM... Maybe AAI could throw a bid out and guarantee a decent integration with AAI and throw SWA out of DEN! Face it. SWA hasn't been doing well out of Den and F9 pilots could merge well with AAI. Boeing Capital could replace the Bus with new 737's and SWA would continue to bleed in DEN. A F9 merger and AAI would make the most sense. Everyone would keep their releative seniority, youd have a great route structure, and SWA would be backpedling!

FWIW most of the F9 folks also probably have apps in with jetblue, Airtran, Virgin America, yada yada....bancruptcy makes you do crazy things!

Been off the planet for a while with no computer access? Welcome back to Earth, but you're just a little late.

AA,

Man I'm trying to be diplomatic here. Work with me!

I love F9. Used to fly for them and I wish NOTHING bad to come of them - as long as my current wife and kids (SWA) doesn't get hurt. I get defensive when you mess with MY family.

I made the sacrifice almost 10 years ago to quit Frontier. I gave up seniority. I gave up security for starting over, once again, at the bottom of SWA's list so I could EARN seniority the old fashioned way - growth and retirements.

This is not a merger. This is a purchase.

Therefore I just don't see why any Frontier pilot, who CHOSE to stay at Frontier at any time or especially when the future started getting cloudy, deserves ONE SINGLE SENIORITY NUMBER ahead of the very last SWA pilot.

Gup
