Fair enough. Now moving on.

You have better access to our customer satisfaction surveys than us. You and I both have faith in the professionalism of our crews. What else would you have us do? All you have done on this thread is spread FUD, offered no suggestions, and essentially acted rather B19ish.

We get the fact the economy tanked, we are under attack in Washington, and the revenue trips are down.

I have raised issues/concerns affecting all. I am confident the pilots will engage the issues, and I have confidence in the pilots.

They are big boys and girls - I've always said get them all the information and they will put it together and make (good) things happen for all.

I am confident the pilots will "light a fire" for action and answers.

Gotta love 'em!

Take care,

.

the contract will allow the company to furlough with no action from the pilots. Therefore there will be no consessions. Once you give back you never get back. Once you give back, the company can furlough anyway, and the low seniority guys will come back to less pay then before they left. I know it sucks but that's just the way it is. Go be a doctor.

I only wonder how NJI would be integrated into a furlough if it happens.

Hopefully it wont come to that.

Ah! The ONE MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION (like Wolfy, pinky in the side of my mouth).

I think that may be one of many reasons why RTS will do ANYTHING he can to avoid furloughs. Obviously, the image of market dominance, stability, and financial strength are crucial to the business plan. But I also think management just doesn't want to open that can of worms.

...and Class ... We will continue with our lecture on The Man... when we return....

Ah, the facts.

Don't leave out the fact "my friends" were overwhelming elected by the membership...

FYI - It was some of "my other friends" that started the whisper campaign. Didn't bother me then - doesn't now - too many now - the facts were there to clearly see the what, when, where, why, and how. That's just life in the union biz!

Yeah, Im guessing the next vote will be quite a surprise. The "other friends" who lied, Im guessing they were associated with the person you were gonna "take out" before you left?

No CBA concessions are being discussed - it has been made clear the pilots' fought/worked to hard to secure the CBA. Concessions would never fly. Not a chance - that one is easy.

I highly doubt the union leadership would ever float it and know the pilot group would never approve it.

The goal is job retention and future job creation.

OK

I'll take the blame for that one too. Why not? Nobody is responsible for their own actions anymore - send it my way. I have room for it.
