Touch a nerve did he? He has a valid point given Republic's recent move. Whine all you want, Republic IS showing Mesa moves recently.
Sure has. But now RAH will do it to finish off a good airline. I believe they will be the pioneers to undercut and eventually kill an airline. That's lower than Mesa. In fact that is not the bottom of the barrel. It's under the barrel.
please...midwest is going to go under regardless. with that clown timmy running the show, it's just a matter of time.
any midex guys with the furlough numbers per month until they hit 124 pilots?
and the remaining 100 or so guys left on the property to be released once the short term leases on the 9 717's come due and go back to boeing; according to Timmy, these are short term leases.the mec chairman said on a conference call he expects 3/4 of the pilotforce to be furloughed (including the entire mec) by thanksgiving.
as soon as management figures out a good sell for chocolate covered grasshoppers! When does the cookie palace move to New Delhi?
They want this to happen. Midwests' airplanes can go to Delta/NWA, and the competition is gone. Nobody honestly expects an airline with 9 717s and 12 E170s to be economically viable at all. This is simply a way of killing Midwest legally. And, yes, I feel RAH just bought their way into Delta/NWA with this "financing" deal.
I wondered about that. So will the braintrust switch them all out to 'Midwest Class' (gagging noises and laughing) before getting rid of them? I can't believe they started advertising for 'Midwest Class' no more than a week before they decided to go to 9 planes.
