Glad they kept the flow-throughs.

Not quite. A white slip is for picking up open time at normal pay. If there are no takers and reserves are used up then the will go to green slips which currently paid at 1.5 times your rate for all flying over the ALV.

All sounds reasonable. Is there any way we can get some language saying the NW guys won't spend the next 20 years b1tching about the bad deal they got?

you think they will be hiring? Really?

Eventually, yes. Everything cycles and turns around. Planes are still full, even though fares have started to rise. I think getting a new President (REGARDLESS OF PARTY) will go far to improve public perception of the economy, which goes a long way to actually start the ball rolling again. It's all about having hope...and yes, I certainly HOPE that DL/NWA starts hiring again next year or soon thereafter. I think they are positioning themselves well, especially in comparison...not to mention to mention an increased need for pilots to cover DL work rules.

So you're saying you DON'T know the answer to my question about 1st year pay in both groups of a/c? Just trolling?

VOR,

Is there a reason why everything is in bold?

I might as well start posting everything in bold, italicized, underlined and blue.

Can I get an amen?

So does the flow back to compass etc apply once the merger is complete...meaning if furloughs happen, will original DAL guys have the option of flowing down to compass?

Why are we not getting the same pay raise as NWA? That is BS. Parity pay MUST be both ways, they get a 9.5 to 10% pay raise day one. DAL should get the same at least. Unless they change that, there are already 3 NO votes. I just want to get the same pay raise as NWA. I am thinking a one time check addressing this issue would be just fine.

After all, besides “possible long term stability, if 60 DC9s do not disappear overnight” what is DAL pilots getting out of this deal? We still have no pension, and our raises are about half as much as NWA’s. What am I missing here? From talking to DAL pilots we are getting the short end, and we suppose to be the “acquiring” company. I am all in favor for a fair integration, but Jesus, I don’t think we should lower our pants and take it this hard. Fair is fair, and right now it sure seems one sided. NO for me.

Why are we not getting the same pay raise as NWA?

The only reason DL has "higher" pay rates is because the NW guys took a cut so that they could retain the pensions of their elderly. DL did not. That is the reason for the disparity, NOT that DL is somehow "superior," lol, esp when you equally took welfare (went into bankruptcy). nothing for DL guys to be proud of, and for those NW guys, the "loan is now due."

You DL rushed through LOA19 JUST recently (sneaky sneaky) and now complain you're getting nothing more from THAT? Funny.
