They should be on property at the bottom of the new list along with the 36 Emb's, perfect opportunity to get some flying back.......but I fear my wishes are falling on deaf ears.
Where will the Compass pilots sit in the new Delta? No flame, just curious

If they(compass) were to be added I would have to agree, they are just another regional owned by NWA. They shouldn't be in line ahead of any other NWA regional(Mesaba,Pinnacle). There are many pilots there that have way more years of service and would love to be ONBOARD with NWA. Hopefully the old days of NWA not hiring thier own tails will be gone and the new carrier will start hiring more from the red tail commuter ranks. The are many great people at the red tails cummuters that have been shut out over the years. Delta has hired many from their own commuters, unlike NWA.
...No flame...
Why do you want them on the property, why not Mesaba, Pinnacle, and Comair, Skywest, ASA, X Jet, Mesa, Republic, etc, etc, etc.

Compass was set up as a safety net for any potential NWA mainline furloughees and has a flow thru agreement w/NWA already in effect.
I personally think that Compass due to its flow through agreement, corporate ownership and MEC should be part of the list. All of the other feeders are wholly owned, do not have the same MEC and have no flow through. It is only because of these reasons that they should be on the bottom of the list.
On top of that, it is where a bunch of us will be in a few years.

That lone fact my be a sticking point. Either way I am more than happy to have you put on the bottom of the list. I would have been happy with a staple when I was at ASA. It is a great way to protect all of the flying and in turn protect the careers that we have chosen.
I lived through the XJT/CAL wholly owned same MEC mess. It didn't work too great over there, and I don't think the Compass deal will work any better. If it is wholly owned and represented by the same MEC it makes absolutely no sense to have separate seniority lists and contracts. All wholly owned regionals should be on the DAL/NWA list period. However, I doubt this is even on the list of talking points with ALPA at this point.

Mesaba has a flow too, but people have actually gone to NWAfrom Mesaba, Compass has not had anyone go, and they won't for many moons.
Yeah, like Comair pilots...they love us and can not hire enough of us.![]()
Are Mesaba, Pinnacle, Comair, Skywest, ASA, XJet, Mesa, Republic, etc, etc represented by NWA or DAL MEC? Compass is, not that it entitles us to anything other than fair representation. I'll be happy if we don't end up under the proverbial "bus".
