Puff,

I have to give you guys credit. You have been given talking points and do not waiver. However, you mentioned 50 pilots watching. I have heard ad-nausem from you guys that it was 15nw-3dal. What is the truth, not your truth. You seem like a mid/jr that was hoping for a windfall. As a matter of fact you sound like a ********************ING SCAB. As far as your tuff guy talk, bring your SCAB ASS up to msp/dtw for some picketing/SCABBING and you will have 1000s ready to kick your ass. You guys have elevated this from a close agreement to a civil war.

You are welcome not to believe it. Feel free by all means. Seems as if you guys don't believe anybody, hence the reason you had about 50 pilots in there watching each other to make sure you were all legit.

I'm not asking you to believe me, but your future depends on you finding out the truth for yourself, so I urge you to do it, and fast. Tick, tock.

Hey, I thought you wanted to leave NWA and come to DL? You asked me how you could get an interview, remember that you jerk?

Bye Bye--General Lee

now General, you're not going to agree with this scab POS Puff do you? Everything WeinerPuff has said about the "threat" is nothing more than scare tactics. Only a few are concerned about it.

Besides, who do you think would volunteer to fly those new 787's/777/767-400 ER for, let's say 25% less than you if the threat came true? I know about 4500 guys that would jump, if provoke

He was setting you up....you were just too stupid to realize it! BTW I see you're back to name-calling. Typical.

Sure, ignore the point. What is the difference between 10 and 50 with regard to trust issues within your ranks?

Answer: Nothing.

You guys crack me up. The truth keeps on a seep'in out.
Based on what's coming to light about DALPA, I'd say that WHATEVER number of observers brought because we didn't trust you was justified.

There you go, you admit that you guys are jerks. I didn't know he was a short bus Captain, but I still replied to him and tried to tell him our interview process etc. Wasn't that nice of me? It was. I enjoy this board and actually do give some advice and respond to PMs honestly. You are a jerk too. (please don't cry)

I'm really sorry that you can't debate me (your definition of namecalling on FI);). Better luck next time. Hey, I think I hear the batphone! Better Suit-up BobbyLee!

I currently have a bid in for the 787 and the Space Shuttle. I can't wait to fly both.

In reality, you guys are really losing out. Your merger committee chair really messed up. You can't keep your pension and get everything else handed to you, and you need to realize that. You get our better rules and a larger pay raise, and we DON'T get your pension. That isn't fair, and you KNOW IT. Relative seniority will be the result, and you can either join us and get a large pay bump, better rules, better bases, more widebodies, and KEEP YOUR PENSION, or you can have a B-scale. That is reality. Everything else about 100 seat scope etc is just rumor until it all comes out. I wouldn't think Dalpa would give up on that, and it would be shock if they did. Think about it---and focus on reality. Our offer was seniority within .05%. I still haven't heard what your offer was. Why don't you tell me?

I will need a batsuit when I commute to DTW next year for my 777 Captain slot. Caution wake turbulence.

Can't have it both ways. Nope. That isn't fair, and you KNOW IT. Yes you have....but you ignore it because it doesn't fit your agenda. 1:1.4 vs 1:1.6. Sound familiar? It should. Why don't you tell me?Have several times. I guess your head actually needs to be out of your ass to hear it though.

To the Bat Poles!!!!!

I understand your frustration but before you go too crazy with the ass kicking stuff just remember there are only a handful of DL pilots here and there is a whole lot of speculation going on. Most of it way off base. A small spark is being fanned into a blaze. The vast majority at DL want this to work out well for both groups.

Ok, let's see. To my knowledge, we had:
1) The merger committee - 3 people
2) The merger advisory board - 10 (maybe 12, can't remember) people selected by our MEC. A cross-section of our seniority list (various years of service, seats, wide/narrowbody positions) selected to ensure that everybody here was adequately represented. They were observing the process and were, largely, there as a feel good measure for the various seniority brackets of the NWA pilot group. They were there for us. They had nothing to do with you.

Hardly the "pipe-wielding thugs" you would have us believe NWA brought to the negotiating table. Then again, let's not let facts stand in the way of DALPA posturing. Perhaps you should leak how many people we brought to the negotiation to the news media as well. It might buy you another seniority number or two.

Nose,

I appologize to you and all Dal brothers except puff. I lost my cool but I have had it with guys like him and the general that think we should just bow down. You seem like a good guy as are most Dal/Nwa pilots. We are being played by mgmt. They know they would never get concessions out of any of us again as a unified group. So the plan B or is it maybe plan A is cause a rift to split us before we get our ******************** together by making unrealistic promises to one group and causing the other to go on the defensive thus the fighting and mudslinging we have here. And in the end ********************ty pay/work rules for years to come. Lets hope our mecs/merger/neg. comms can see thru what the money men are trying to do.

Mr Minibus,

I got about $70,000 for my pension, part of which filled up my 401K allottment for this year, and the rest was taxed. My pension was taxed. Most guys under 10 years got about $30,000, which partially filled up the 401K allottment. Yeah, it sure was worth it......

And, you can rant all you want about the SLI, but in the end you won't get what you want. You won't. And quit talking so much about "poles." I don't go that way. Maybe you do, not that there is anything wrong with that....

Thanks Bevis. Boy, that sure was funny pretending that you wanted info on Delta. I was sure happy to get that for you. What an idiot.

Guess what? You guys have had your expectations raised by a Republic guy with an agenda. He was screwed by the Redbooks, and he has fed you lines that you now agree with---which are UNREALISTIC. Get that through your frozen minds. (still snowing up there, eh? Bummer) You won't get what you want. You have a pension that the rest of us will not have. You have planes that are going to go away first, before our MD88s. You have management that wants to bail on you. You have never negotiated by yourselves without an arbitrator on "line #1." You showed up unprepared to negotiate, and with too many people watching over each other---how many observers again????? Ridiculous.

You frozen hosers need a reality slap. Wake up and come to the table, and splash some reality on yourselves. Oil is way high, your leader wants his money, and peak leverage is GONE for you. Take a hit for the team and let's all go to a Nascar event and yell "damn Chevy's!!!"

Bye Bye--General Lee

That's a convenient excuse when arbitration clearly would not side with your position.

You have no idea what an arbitrator will decide.

The AAA pilots got their #1 choice to arbitrate their SLI. They were confident that Nicolau would see it their way. It didn't quite work out that way for them now did it.

Arbitration is an abdication of leadership and only a fool would embrace it over negotiations.
