3 of 16 were military guys in my CAL class on 11/27/07. 1 guard and 2 full time guys.

Actually there were 4 total in that class, but I believe one had already separated.....now quit cruising these boards, you should be studying

I was in the schoolhouse this week and I ran into a friend who is in the Jan 22, 2008 class. The breakdown is:

4-express jet
2-trans states
1-republic
1-skywest
1-air midwest
1-USAF
1-USN
1-USM

Also 4-75/76
8-737
Not sure if there were any 777 slots

Also ran into CN and she stated that hiring is back to normal 16/wk until the end of May, then a slowdown to approx 8/wk for the summer, and then really aggressive in Sept (16 or more per wk).

Will CAL hire someone with no Bachellor Degree?

Not only do they want a degree, they are also looking for grade point averages now. I forget what the specific target is though. The last 777 rumor that I heard is that we're getting four, but two of our current ones are going back due to their leases.

Cal 2008

That is good news for CAL hopefuls if hiring is now 16/week. Any latest news on the class breakdowns so far in 2008. (ie.. from what airline, & how many to each aircraft?). Thanks!
