It is interesting to see JetBlue and Airtran guys make the jump... would you guys leave JetBlue or Airtran to go to Continental?

Under most circumstances, no. If I had less than two years or so at AT or JB and it would make life easier i.e. commuting, then yes. I know one of the AT guys on that list, and that was the case exactly for him. It was a quality of life decision.

Nothing "kiddie" about it. Anyone who is willing to throw their own brothers and sisters under the bus for quicker upgrade and more pay (but still horrible pay nonetheless) at their regional will have no problems doing the same thing to their own at a major. If Continental goes on strike at some point, this guy will probably be the first to cross the picket line for his chance at the left seat.

Is it "kiddie" that someone will crush your quality of life to better their own? Not hardly...
 
I haven't seen too many JetBlue guys until recently. When I interviewed at CAL in Oct. 95 they asked me if I had applied to JetBlue because CAL had lost a few pilots to them. Times change I guess.

There has always been a steady stream of AirTran pilots though.

Not completely true.

I was dh'ing home and was talking with a couple of TransMeridian pilots. They were about to be furloughed, b/c TM was about to close it's doors. They were both previous TWA. Both had extensive experience, but were about to lose their jobs. One mentioned a upcoming interview w/ GoJets as a street CA. He wasnt exactly happy about it, in fact, i would say he looked borderline depressed. How can you judge this guy for trying to keep food on the table?

Will he cross a picketline, i dont know. But not everyone who went to GoJets is a SJS 500 hr wonderpilot.

Jetblue? 1995? Was JBLU hiring future check airmen or something?
 
Anybody have the break down of equipment and domiciles?
