I'll post this here and in the charter forum, since we're a little bit of each.

Domiciles:
Effective January 1, our Tier 1 domiciles are as follows:

-Sacramento
-San Francisco Bay Area
-Los Angeles
-San Diego
-Phoenix
-Denver
-Chicago
-Atlanta
-Miami
-Dallas
-New York
-Washington DC
-Seattle

You need to live within 100 miles of your assigned city. Not sure if that's going to be based on distance to a specific airport, I'm sure more clarification will come out. As it is now, it's a safe assumption that most airports within 100 miles of the city will be considered part of that domicile. Tier 1 domiciles are eligible for either our new 8 on 6 off schedule or the 15 on 13 off schedule.

Tier 2 domiciles are only for the 15/13 schedule and will be considered on an individual basis. Basically, you'll need to live near an airport that has satisfactory airline service for it to be considered Tier 2.

Vacation:
8 days off per year for years 1-4
16 days off per year after year 5

Sick time:
5 days off per year.

Pay:
1st year PIC 90k
14 year PIC 145k
extra days are paid at 1.5 day rate, based on 205 (or 195) days per year.

(The pay scales are incredibly difficult to explain without looking at the tables. What they accomplish though are yearly raises based on annual reviews, and then even larger raises if certain company performance goals are met. If you are doing your job, you'll get a raise. If you're doing your job and the company has met its goals, then you'll get an even bigger raise. If the goal is not met, pay does NOT go down. I know, it's clear as mud, but that's what it is.)

I should add that SIC pay is 70% of PIC pay...

1st yr SIC = $63,000
14 yr SIC = $101,500

Pay goes up linearly from year 1 through year 14.

So if it is linear, I guess a 5 year captain would make around $111,000, and it would be over $132,000 for a 10 year guy. Flops has a long way to go to come up to industry standards. I just hope they understand this before the Net Jets flood gates open and take more pilots than we can afford to loose.

That pay scale is for the X, correct? Any idea for the Challenger 300, or is that still not available since you haven't taken delivery?

No difference in pay between the X and the 300. Both are considered Super Midsize.

By whom?

Interesting because a larger Sovereign is considered a mid-size.

Cabin Volume
Sovereign: 620 cu ft.
CX: 600 cu ft.
c300: 860 cu ft.

45% more cabin volume by my calculator. Someone got the wool pulled.

I just assumed you agreed with the guy who wrote your pay policy as you didn't dispute the obvious disparity. After all, the 300 will be 2/3 the entire fleet.
We are assuming management addressed the difference in category size as the 300 will soon be the driver of program growth.

UPS pays their 747 captains the same as their 757 captains. NetJets is soon going to be paying their Ultra captains the same as their Sovereign captains. (Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the Gulfstream PICs going to be paid the same as everyone else too?)

What is there to dispute? The company wants to avoid a mass exodus to the 300s when they show up, so keeping them on the same pay scale as the 10 takes away one of the potential reasons one would want to transition.

Difference in MTOW of the 2 airplanes is only 2750#s...38850 vs 36100. No need to make an issue out of that.

At first glance, Daily pay rate seems to match closely the NJA rate once accounting for the scheduling difference.

Don Juan ... you have to multiply the weight times the Mach for similar pay class.
LOL-Thanks
