My point here is that the FE seat absolutely suks, and I did it. If you have to be an FE for years, it wouldn't be worth it. Maybe at Fedex or UPS on the cargo side (although over age 60 pilots are on those seats now), it could be worth it. Not at Astar. Really. If you could get the right seat of the 727 or A300/DC8, maybe it could be worth something because you could at least log those hours and they could mean something for the future. An FE seat does nothing for you, and doing it for years, and knowing that, is not worth it. Go for a window seat somewhere else, and by the way Delta is hiring.

Sounds like there will soon be a B727 in ILN that doesn't belong to Astar. Canada's Cargo Jet is scheduled to start YVR-YYC-ILN-YYC-YVR in September.
