Well I don't believe it is just the flightinfo world but the real world. Having a position at an air carrier should come along with some basic info about the state of this industry.

Is that listed in the requirements? What is every new CFI/Regional FO supposed to come on flightinfo and listen to the constant whining? BTW I haven't flown with that many captains who even know who GoJets is. What does that tell you about the real world?

Ignorance is not an excuse...

Isn't it the captain's choice to let them on their AC?
Our company is in CASS, and an American Eagle pilot wanted/needed a ride to our destination to meet up with his wife and kids who were already there at 5 am Saturday morning. There's no other commercial flights that weekend into there. He called our company, got run through the CASS system, and we checked his ID. Even though he wasn't on a reciprocal agreement with our company but was still in the CASS system it was the captain's decision. He was a great guy, didn't "expect" to get a ride and we were able to take him. So we did. So That morning he was able to meet his wife and kids which I was happy for him to be able to do.
Then, I got bitched out by another pilot from our company for letting him ride because we don't have a reciprocal agreement with their airline.
If they're good people and we're all in the cass system, why should we get bitched out for letting good people trying to get home to their family? Maybe we should all get over which airline we work for and try and help each other out wherever we work.

point is who cares if he does not know. Most people really do not give a crap about the little wee wee war between TSA and GoJets. I know the story and I still do not nor will not ever care. TSA guys have still been hired at lots of different airlines. All the internet blowhards said this would never happen. This simply proves there is the real world and there is the flightinfo world. In the real world no one except TSA and a few other bored dorks care about GoJets.

Don't EVER call a GoJet pilot a TSA pilot - you friggen T O O L.........

I have never been a TSA pilot. I am a CHQ pilot. I will never allow a GOJET piece of trash on my airplane. BTW all of you Starcheckers are allowed on us as we are on you. EX 168 and 904 guy

Real world! I jumpseat on mainline usair and united all the time and in the past year I have yet to find a crew that does NOT ask me about the "go-jet situation", so believe it or not, pilots know! And by the way thanks alpa brothers!

some advice, do your research cause people here will hang you out to dry.. I hope you are not an FO for a regional asking a question like that...

Thanks for the heads up, honestly i could care less if some guys tear into me on here. I fly 121 cargo and havent paid to much attention to the TSA GoJets battle. Thats why i asked about the whole deal since it appears in the flightinfo world to be huge. Flame away or explain for me and other people that are lurking and wondering the same thing i am.

There's also one that commutes from KLAN - he went out of his way to be an a**hole to the gate staff and crew...if you're reading this buddy, good luck getting a seat in the actual when the flight's full...you know who you are.

3 times the last 2 months, and in the last year 7. 2 denied a seat in back and the others i had no problems getting rid of them from the cockpit.
same guy twice (Fo) from GRR to ORD.

reason? ex-tsa. im commuting now b/c of gayjet.
F those scums.
