Does anyone have a better solution than the attached pic? It's loaded with the printed POH / GNC355 Supplement, has the registration / airworthiness certificate - and it hangs down way too far. It even hits the top of my 5'5" wife's head. Even if I got a bungee cord and cinched up the middle, it would still hang down pretty far.

That looks terrible and is nothing like the one in mine. I'd reach out to CubCrafters and ask for a replacement, on them.

Well, that gives me a clue. Mine is installed 90 degrees rotated versus yours. I'll go rotate it and see if that helps.

Yep, I think you're right :)

I had a local seamstress duplicate the overhead storage with a liner without the pockets. I keep the books on a Tac Aero net. Even with that, there is very little headroom for the passenger, especially with the remote mount avionics.

Did you retain the clear display for the registration / airworthiness certificate in the overhead? Or did you relocate that behind the seat?

No way I'm springing for that high dollar TacAero storage panel ... although it's very cool. I believe I can have one custom made for a few hundred bucks.

You are definitely correct, if you designed one yourself, you could probably get it more custom and cheaper

I ditched the overhead and placed the AFM and cert on a Molle panel. Yeah big bucks but I'm not shooting for my kids to fly first class when I'm dead. Had a FO I flew with fashion this panel to hide the cables and give some head room. He has the dimensions to create another if interested. Check this post to see Molle panel.
