Any young guy's trying to build time will not get it there,,,,, I would hate to see some young guy go there,,,,,,

I havent heard anything to back up what you are saying. Then again, I dont give a crap anymore.
 
I hate to be the bring you bad news, but these types of defections are happening at a lot companies. Ameristar may not be the shinning example of the best job in the world, but the fact that many people are moving on is not an indicator that they are the scumbags of all of cargo either.

Ok how about this SPORT, people would rather risk being sued for breach of contract than work in the crap-hole that is Ameriscare. They aren't moving on; you make it sound as if they hate to leave the place; they are running the fvck away and most can't wipe the grins off there faces. Try not to espouse on stuff you know nothing about.

Ok, sport, how about this. I won't name names, but I know of one company that won't even consider Options pilots because the that company thinks of them as a bunch of cry babies on forums like this. It may suck over there, but trashing the company on this forum will do you no good. Further, it will hurt your coworkers by giving them a bad rep. I suggest you can it for the time being.

I can see that you never worked at Ameristar. I have and what most people say about it is true. It is THE scumbag cargo hall of shame leader!

The subject was on Ameristar and that they treat people like ****,,,,,,, and they are a SCUMBAG company,,,,,

IT is at the top of the list for places to AVOID,,,,,,

Especially for the young guys,,,,,, Their 121 ops are no better,,,,,,

If they were then the 121 Chief Pilot would not have left,,,,

The seniority list on the 121 side is going backwards and will only get worse when the last 737 cargo bird goes away,,,

mm is gone, and the 121 chief. plus a whole gaggle of 121 pilots. AH and TG are still hanging around like an upaid bill.

Doesn't take much for it to be a better deal than Ameristar.
 
MM is now flying checks in the aero commander for central air southwest...

First of all what do want to say about the 121 ops at Ameristar....... Looks like you been there a while,,,??


I also know that the guys who left all made a great decision to leave AMERISTAR......... IT does not matter where they went..... They wont be treated like crap anymore,,,,,

As far as 121 ops there,,,,, Lets see,,,, Since the Chief Pilot left,,,, well its about to get worse,,,,,
 
Let's see....... as for the 135 side, MM is going to Burlington Northern, AH might still be waiting on SWA, hopefully he gets it. The 121 side lost the chief pilot to a private flight department, of which the name presently escapes me. The 121 side lost one 73 capt to flex and three and a half 9 capts to a 75 operator.

You are correct,,,,, But the only thing you left out is WHY all those guys left. Not to often you lose BOTH Chief pilots in the same month. Then 4 captains, 2 f/o's and god knows how many more.

I am curious to see what you have to say on that. I am sure you know it was because they were all treated poorly. As is everyone at Ameristar.
