It is refreshing that no mud is being slung. The guys that have been around have seen this little drama before.

This will be the third time in ten years that airplanes, along with their flying, have been shifted from Pinnacle to Mesaba.

This proves once again that pilot costs do not determine where airplanes will be flown. Figure out how Norhwest execs can make the most money and you will have the answer.

Next up, for Mesaba......Hey, you're going public....again.

I see you anti ALPA guys are forgetting to mention ALPA is going to asking the NLRB for a single carried designation. Compass, NWA, Mesaba.....

I cannot see Colgan doing anymore SAAB flying...Not that these management types wouldn't love to try it. First of all, we cannot handle the flying that we have and are on the cusp of serious manpower shortages as well. If we make it another six months without a crew cancellation I'll believe it when I see it.

1. It's the NMB, not NLRB.

2. Single carrier petition would do nothing in this case, as all 3 carriers already are represented by ALPA.

3. I see you pro ALPA guys still believe ALPA will do something to stop the whipsaw.... maybe some "brand scope"... yeah that's the ticket.....

4. Why did ALPA create Compass in the first place?

I'm glad to see that we're not on here slinging mud at each other. I think all the folks at XJ and 9E have read the NWA playbook. It's now Pinnacle's turn to get the screws turned on em. Don't worry, we'll take good care of the 17 until you guys get them back in a few years.
We have sat over here at 9E looking at how bad XJ was being treated. In the back of our minds thinking that will be us soon, and now our turn is here. XJ take a break. They can hit us for awhile now. Enjoy them planes yall.

Take the Memphis Belle

I think we should give you guys the belle that way it would match the paint failing off scheme as the saabs.

Hey and can we get the "Spirit of Beale Street",

I would love to fly a plane named after a street full of homeless, drunk people, that smells like piss.

In the era of low fare, low cost airlines, that discribes the interior of the airplane as well

Ahhh, not so fast there, kemosabe.

Sounds like Jingle Pants just triggered the agreement for 9E pilots to come over to XJ if they want to.

Anyone remember that little gem? It's still in the PCL contract.

XJ just received a windfall of aircraft at the same time PCL suffered a net loss of aircraft (over 10% of their total airframes is substantial).

If I were a PCL CA, I'd take it and run, especially since it looks like you guys may end up with a flow-through with mainline NWA.
