Ah yes, there are the few like Animaletale who think that everything is just great and that is how it will always be to them no matter how much is taken away, to them F9 is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Look - he's alive!! What do you get excited about, Ex-Nutjob? Anything?

Always good to hear your constructive input. We've missed you.

Animal Tale your an ***********************************! I think TOGA knows what he's talking about. Do the research on Continental and ExpressJet before you run your piehole. He knows more about scope than most people. Read his previous posts. He was at Expressjet when it was a wholly owned subsidiary of CAL. He lived through the spinoff and saw Expressjet grow while CAL shrunk.

You my friend should do your homework before you start pointing the fingers at someone else.

PIEHOLE? How old are u Stifler?
**YAWN** You my friend need to do your homework. I CHOOSE to do my job. No body owes me anything. If I do not like my job, I will look elswhere. I wont sit there complaining and contaminating the culture by "SPEWing" venom to the general public and CRYing WOLF.

In fact, I will tell you a little secret: F9 is probably one of the better airlines out there. IMHO, Our mangement, union, pilot group, pay and schedules are amongst the BEST ((in general I think airline pilots are underpaid) (I will have to be forced to leave this place))!!!!!!!! Sure we have our problems and I do agree SCOPE/Pay is important but how has SCOPE/Pay been protected by any of the other airlines in the past???????????? You let me know? One bancruptcy and SCOPE/Pay go down the toilet!

Have a nice day and in all sincerity I hope our industry starts recovering again.

Ex-Nut,

Look around bro, everything is great! F9 is awesome> I enjoy coming to work and I like the people I fly with (most of them).

If I hated F9, like you do, I would leave. I would not torture myself and make my life miserable by staying someplace I hated.

BTW, I am no spring chicken either. I have been at a few SCOPE effected regionals and a couple of majors. I should be the one with a BAD attitude, but I choose to live my life with out depending on the airlines and I choose to live my life knowing that nobody OWES me anything!

Trust me you will live longer!

Good Luck Ex-nut

Do you think there are 590 "idiot" pilots in front of you on the seniority list? Do you think, you, an EX-EXPRESS JET Pilot, has more wisdom and knowledge about scope than your team members? I DONT THINK SO! Look around you next time you are in the crew lounge. I bet you a majority of pIlots in that room were from Majors and before the Majors, they probably flew for Regionals. They just dont have the "chicken little" attitude you exude.

Well, as much as you would apparently like to make this a thread of competing personal attacks, I refuse to allow it to degnenerate to that level. In fact, I'd like to apologize for my previous "myopia" comment, it served no purpose. I must say that I appreciate that you've pointed out my error of omission. I never specifically came out and said why I'm the one posting all this. It's not because I'm smarter, more experienced, or in any way better than anyone else. In fact, I'm pretty much a 'spring chicken' compared to a large portion of this pilot group. To be honest with you, I'm not sure why I'm the one . . . I can assure you it's not because I think I know better, or because I'm unhappy here. On the contrary, I think I've made it abundantly clear that I'm agitated about this specifically because I like it here, and I don't want that to change. As for the former of those points, not only do I not think I'm better than anyone else, I see the fact that the company would forego their utilization of the valuable resources our current pilot group offers as a grave error. What I mean to say is . . . we have a pool of motivated, dedicated, experienced professionals, and they're going to hire 'rookies' who will have no reason to give a crap about Frontier?! Who would you rather have flying the Q400 with our passengers (and our non-revving family, friends, and co-workers) in it and our name on the side . . . a Frontier pilot who was recently flying Dash 8s in the mountains, or a time-builder who just came out of a Seminole in Florida? On the same note, who should be writing the manuals? Creating the training program? Doing sim training? Doing IOE? Etc, etc. I am regularly humbled by the experience level and professionalism of those I fly with . . . people on their seventh (eighth, ninth!) airline, people who served our country for decades . . . the guys and gals who've built this airline from the ground up. It is with precisely that respect, combined with my relatively meager experience, that I write all of this. It is with precisely with that respect that I refuse to enter into a pointless battle of personal attacks.

Then don't.

Stay strong - stay unified - back your reps. Nothing wrong with opposing opinions but call them directly.........on the phone or buy them a beer and hash it out. Sometimes there are things that one side or the other that they did not realize or think about. I think this is a healthy thing.........disagreement means that there is a thought process goin on.

BTW - to put this stuff on a public forum is bad form.

Your myopia keeps you from seeing the dangers down the road. You are the type of employee who doesn't question things. You continue to put your head in the sand and then someday will wake up and say "Why is mainline not growing? How come Lynx is much bigger than we are?" You think it's a joke. At one point during Expressjet growth they actually had MORE departures a day than Continental. I'm sure when they were just a "feeder" there were Continental pilots who said "Who cares if Calex gets a few jets."

I think you're sounding like the "Stifler". How much PIC do you have?

OK, STUD, you made your point. PM me well chat a little (if I am worthy)! Believe me CAPTAIN STUD, I question many things. I just choose not to be miserable and "spew" venom about my employer (who pays my bills) on a public forum.

Nothing to chat about so don't take it personal. I don't think TOGA is being negative. You actually have the right attitude, however, don't get complacent. You should enjoy where you work and hope for the best, but you also need to get involved and be aware of what your company is doing.

If our congress (employees) would've done that to our president (employer) maybe we wouldn't be in the mess we're in in Iraq. Just a thought.
