Northern........17.5 and does anyone know the whereabouts of this ruling? I would like to see it for my own eyes and to read the judges reasoning.

It was just emailed to me, looks like the judge used the NWA flight attendants as the precident in his decision.

YPF: What's Yoda say in your avitar? The print is too small for me to read (or maybe it's just the big red cloud in front of my eyes....)

If there's anything I can do to help you XJers let me know. This is the career equivalent of the perfect storm and your fellow aviators are behind you 100%.

This is where the metal hits the bone gentleman. If you have the strength to walk out, now is the time. Hopefully Mr. W will have the integrity to strike anyway. The NY transit workers did it and got results. I'd site their case as president for illegal union action. A contract is a MUTUAL agreement, not an imposed environment. If the union doesn't have the stomach for an illegal job action, a mass resignation would be nice. Good luck folks. The whole industry is watching.

Enough to make a grown Sig get misty-eyed.... well said.

Pull the trigger on your destiny, fellas. You might become legend here shortly. I have watched this for a long, long time... and if there is anything I might be able to do, PM me.

Give. Them. He[[.

Well, shoot. I just got advised within two minutes of posting my reminder to XJ guys that we service outstations that they do to keep us in mind if their plane breaks at an outstation.

This is my last edit; this is a totally new post.

Suck it, punk. They deserve a ride home if they so choose. Again, NOT ADVOCATING A JOB ACTION, just a friendly reminder......

It's not very comforting that I work for the worst airline in history. As long as your write-ups are good legal write-ups there is nothing the company can do. I plan on carrying two pens to make sure I never run out of ink. With this all said we should have more growth coming our way than any other airline. Why would NW start compass when they have a forced labor camp called Mesaba. Why would Delta talk to Comair when the Wh-res of the industry are XJ. Like it was said in previous replys this is a HUGE blow to every ALPA pilot working today. My predicition is 9E files for bankruptcy very shortly.

This will get overturned by the same judge as last time. But if I were Wychor, I'd call a strike, go to jail if needed, become a hero in the eyes of labor EVERYWHERE, then go on to an awesome career in the union leadership!

I'm amazed the judiciary can impose the RLA on labor but not on management. WTF is going on in the Minnesota legal system?!?!

I could never tell Mesaba workers to "take one for the profession"...but I've said it before: I could not afford to continue working for Mesaba as an FO under the imposed work rules & compensation that had been posted here earlier.

If this ruling stands, it sets a dangerous precedent for labor across all industries, especially in aviation. Somebody has got to put a stop to this sh!t.

The question is:

On Thursday, when management imposes their terms, will you quit?

Or will you show up to work, fly a little slower, try and write something up at an outstation, maybe call in sick?

Only one of these solutions will have any real effect. I know I'm outside looking in, but seriously...are you really going to work under an imposed, concessionary contract?

Anyone who shows up to work after they impose their contract, have accepted their terms.

Terrible news. Hopefully this injunction can be appealed or just strike any way. ALPA has a ton of money in the piggy bank to pay off any kind of fines. ALPA national shouldn't just sit and watch labor get steamrolled like this.

Who is giving Judge Kishel all of the reach arounds anyway? "Hot Carl" Polad? His Cornell boyfriend, Foley?

This might have screwed 9E for some leverage in their negotiations.
