why do jesus people suck?

get a f*cking sense of humor timebuilder. just be able to appreciate that different people have different f*cking beliefs. why do you have to b*tch about everything?

i believe in myself. i believe in mankind. i believe in science.

you beLIEve in jesus...and that's fine. enjoy your beliefs. the one thing i hate most about christians is they try to push their beLIEfs on everyone else. they can't just enjoy the fact that they may or may not be right. they can't just sit back and watch the "sinners" go to "hell." they have to force their beLIEfs on everyone.

no one wants to hear your b*tching. everyone wants to laugh. give us a f*cking break. :D

i think that every one involved in the Religious debates should read, "A Good Man is Hard to Find" by Flannery O'Conner...even if you don't understand it or interperate it correctly, it's a funny (ironicly speaking) story...

linky to text...

Another rather large attitude swerves into the crux of the matter.

The difference is this: your perception of any kind of "belief" is just that, a belief, no more important than a lunch menu. The truth is that one can have a belief that is totally wrong, and one can have a belief that is totally correct. Is trusting yourself the best way to decide the basis of your life, or might the one who wrote the POH for people be a better source of input? God reports, you decide.

You must have missed the threads where it was explained that the believer must act, according to Jesus' own words, to bring His message to the unsaved. What a pi$$er for you, eh?

Go ahead and laugh. Just be a little discriminating in what you regard as humor. If you display the humor of a third grader, people can mistakenly decide that is your preferred level of thought.

Feel free to ignore that advice. I have a feeling you might...

Amazing what passes for humor.

The Bible tells us to rejoice when wicked men revile and despise us, because our reward is great in heaven.

Essentially, the godly person can not lose. Every attack that we endure just increases our standing with God.

Even while you're shoveling dirt, you are unable to see that the hole you are digging is for yourself.

So go ahead, and rage on - every slight goes to my credit.

I can easily withstand the likes of fools like you - there are people in other nations dying because they refuse to renounce Christ. I would not like to be put in such a position, but I know I could never renounce Christ.

Dare you to answer this: Which of your beliefs would you be willing to die for? I seriously doubt any of you have the courage to die instead of renounce a belief in something.

Your attitude and the attitude of the people abusing them really only differs in a matter of degree.

I count it as an honor (as a Christian) to be a target of your disdain. Really separates the crop from the weeds, you know.

Can't take the judgement? I suggest you stay off message boards.

That feeling you are experiencing is you conscience bothering you.

God is very patient. Just make sure you have repented before His patience runs out.

it's not my conscience that's bothering me. it's the christians that don't think anything is funny. that bothers me.

jesus seemed like a party guy. turned water into wine. created tits. great guy.

look at what his followers have become. no sense of humor. refusing to let people enjoy funny jesus drawings (which he created in his infinite omnipotence).

it's not just me. you're disappointing jesus here. :D

Also, would someone please explain why the original post was supposed to be humorous?

I just don't see it.

Here's the deal - it really wasn't funny - it was just another opportunity to "tweak" the Christians on this board.

Therefore, since it was designed for that purpose, it is considered to be an offense to us, so my above statement applies - we get credit from God for standing up and enduring these slights.

Me a disappointment to Jesus? Sometimes, of course, because we all are. However, I try every day to live according to His word.
That is the best I can do. More than many do.

Also, the Bible says that Jesus was "a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief" so your 'party' comment is inaccurate.

Is having a cheap laugh so important to you that you can't afford a solemn moment when one is called for?

The perpetual joker and kidder is a fool. It is very sad that you are unable to function above this level.

that's the thing. i can afford a solemn moment when one is called for.

called for.

not on a f*cking aviation message board on a thread that was meant to be funny. why be solemn now? take your solemn sh*t elsewhere and let everyone have their fun.

that's what i've been saying all along. if you don't like it, don't participate.

solemn. jesus f*cking christ.

Just don't blame me for not warning you.

I absolutely guarantee that the day is coming when you will regret this attitude. Like I said, God is very patient, but it won't last forever.

Here's the problem:

Fact #1

No matter what you believe about Him, Jesus was a real person.

Fact #2

Jesus is somebody who I greatly respect.

Fact #3

I have plenty of time for humor and levity - but when I see someone berating someone I respect, I will step in.

How would you feel if if someone took your above comment about the *pink* object and restated it, substituting the name of your kid sister, or mother, or a deceased relative. Perhaps you would be offended? I bet you would, so don't lie and say you wouldn't.

My grandmother died from a tragic illness. Would you consider it bad taste to joke about her - right in front of me? even you would probably have more class than this. Why should Jesus be any different. As much as I disagree 100% with other religions, I have enough respect for those people's humanity not to insult their god, whoever he may be. He is real enough to them.

Apparently, Christians are not due this courtesy.
(See above post regarding how I benefit from this)

If you so badly need to have a laugh at the expense of someone else's deeply held personal belief, what does that say about you as a person?

Your anger and profanity proves who you are.

The argument is over, and I won.

you're absolutely correct. jesus was a real person. he did have a great following. he was crucified on a cross. i do believe that.

as far as getting upset about someone talking about using the *pink* object (can't even type the word dildo?) on a family member, it would not phase me. words do not hurt me...they're words. intangible. i can't believe that you could be weak enough to be hurt by words.

hopefully the argument is over...i've got plenty of sinning to do tonight and you're holding me up.

if you think you won, have it. you won. as long as you'll shut your f*cking mouth.
