Falcon Air isn't unionized. The pilots there are *MOSTLY* former ALPA, Teamsters, etc (highly experienced furloughed or permanently-furloughed (Midwest) pilots from other carriers). So for my own education. If the Falconair pilot refuses to fly can Falcon fire him? If they do will ALPA protect him? I am not trying to stir up a hornets nest I really don't know.
And yes, Florida is an at-will work state; if the Falcon Air pilots refuse to fly, they're risking termination without recourse to grievance. So every Falcon Air pilot who DID refuse to fly those flights deserves our respect and appreciation for risking termination in a TERRIBLE hiring environment to support Spirit pilots.
Those who didn't refuse... well... as a mod, I should just shut up before I say something I shouldn't, even though all of this is my personal opinion and not posting as a mod.
