...they will get the boot from the mainline carriers they are feeding and eventually end up like Indy Air, a regional trying to fly Airbus' and play mainline pilot

SRJ, sounds like you care if you are willing to start a whole new thread about the subject. Kinda contradicting yourself.

Anyone with career aspirations greater than an E170 or 190 at regional wages for a domestic airline should care about this.

Then why would you take a job that pays substandard wages in the first place?(Lynx) How are you helping the industry let alone your career aspirations by dragging it down.....take a stance and quit.
O wait, then how will you aquire the minimums required to work for a major? Kind of a delema you've got there, keep bringing the industry down until a major job is within reach. By that time flying that nice new Q400 will equal the pay of some major 737 FO's.

I hear DAL management is pissed, and has lawyers looking into how they can drop Republic as a Connection carrier. They are basically taking money we pay them to buy and airline that will compete with us.

Lynx is a regional airline and doesn't pretend to be something else. When you're willing to have a constructive conversation get back to me. Until thing, it's not worth my time to argue with you over this. Good day sir.

Sounds good to me. I hope UAL does the same thing. Let's see UAX (RAH) cancels flight from den to "xyz." No problem they can take them on f9 the airline they own that competes with the flight THEY just cancelled. HMMM

I'm a simple pilot, but come on people, CEO's aren't mouth-breathing knuckle draggers. They are all on cordial terms with each other and its not like Bedford woke up a few months ago and thought "I think I'll bet the entire company today". He knows something we don't, be it UAL's financial ill-health, TPG, Delta, future merger with JetBlue, any number of possibilities.

No doubt these exact issues were discussed with DL/CO/US/UA/AMR before anything was ever made public. BB and Co don't take CHQ from being a dirtball jetstream/Saab operator to buying two majors in 10 years by being idiots.

So it's not the seats...but rather the method of propulsion that you have a problem with....By the way, Republic has far better rates than Lynx...
