I'm not way to the left, I've heard some pretty nutty things come from the left, in fact I've tried to give Bush the benefit of the doubt (he couldn't be as stupid as he sometimes comes across). But I'm starting to have my doubts. Iraq was NOT a terrorist threat before we attacked it. We had Saddam contained and could have kept a lid on him with continous UN inspections. It certainly has the potential to become a terrorist breeding ground for the foreseable future now. We'll be paying the bills on this war for a long time.
As far as dividing the country, when all this first started, Walter Chronkite came out with a very well written piece why we should never enter a war without the full support of the American people. Who do you trust Walter Chronkite or Rush Limbaugh?
Sad fact is, if we pulled out of the war now it would be way worse. For better or worse, we have to see this one through or Iraq will be a bigger threat than it ever was.
Personally I feel a lot less safe now that I see how political and inbred the Dept. of Homeland security appears. As bad as Brown was, I thought just as bad was the arrogance and unwillingness to admit a mistake displayed by Micheal Chertoff in his press confrence concerning Brown. These guys have our protection in their hands and need to set aside their egos and politics.
Way to much cronyism if you ask me. Our Govt is filled with friends of Bush at the expense of losing some very good people who could contribute a lot, if given the chance.
And last but not least, one of the things that made our country great is freedom of religon. We have a wonderful mix of spiritual diversity in this country that has benefited our country tremendously, America is not a "Christian " Country. When did Jesus become an American or pro war?

"We must stop Saddam and his WMD's before he uses them against the United States and its Allies. He is a threat to freedom." Ted Kennedy

The Oil War? The Vengence for Daddy War? I swear, you people should wear lil' sheep masks for halloween. Bahhhhh.

Jeez. Can't you let it go? If this war was for oil then we wouldn't be paying $3.00 at the pump right now. If you're going to constantly vomit up the liberal mantra, at least keep up to date with what the daily complaints are.

Watch your elbow...Do you have a window in your stomach so you can see where you are going? Just curious as I am sure it must be difficult getting around with you head stuck up your ...

Pilot 911 I just have one thing to say...read the above post its for you too.
Thanks for serving.

-Where are all the WMD's we heard about?
-Why are 2000 of our troops dead when we were gonna be greated as 'liberators?'
-Why didn't Bush try to build a coalition like we had in 1991, with troops from more countries, including arab countries helping us..
-What was Bush's exit strategy? Even if you supported the war, aren't you appalled we are still there with no end in sight? Someone screwed up.. right? ...Even if you agree with the war, doesn't it make you mad we haven't caught Osama, the guy we should be after?
-Was it worth it to replace Saddam with a government run by religous fundamentalists- much like Iran?

Well, maybe he burried them. Maybe he gave them to terrorists. Maybe he gave them to Syria. Maybe he destroyed them. But, regardless of your political view, YOU CAN'T DENY THAT HE HAD THEM. He used them on his own people. And Bush did build a coalition, it just wasn't as big as the one during the first Gulf War. And even with a coalition, who do you think does the most fighting?

And lets see. What's the world population? Probably 100 Billion or so? I really don't have any idea, but we are looking for ONE person in whatever that number is. Not all that easy really. If you think it is maybe you should offer your ideas on what the correct strategy for finding him is.

And Iraq, while possibly not having a direct correlation to 9/11, did indeed support international terrorism, with both money, arms, and training facilities. Bush stated after 9/11 that we would go after ALL terrorists, and those who harbor or assist them. Not just those who attacked us, but ALL OF THEM.

I'll bet you don't even remember what it felt like watching that second plane hit the tower. Or watching the people jump. Or watching the towers collapse.

Negative, ghostrider. She will win the lawsuit. The "shirt of no service" phrase does not apply to airlines. We dont have said sign at every gate do we?

No she won't. Did you not read the terms from the SWA contract of carriage previously posted? She doesn't have a leg to stand on. She wore an offensive shirt, and was removed per the terms of the contract. And a business has the right to refuse service to anyone, as long as the refusal is not based on racial, religious, or sexual discrimination. That is a right that every business has, whether it is written in a contract or not.

When Clinton lied, no one died.

No, no one died in Bosnia, or Serbia. No one died in the Cole attack, or the Embassy bombings. Every time Clinton got in trouble he started an attack somewhere. That's some kind of hero you have there.

There are no or have there ever been weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. That was pure speculation in the intellegence community.

Oh for God's sake. HE USED THEM AGAINST HIS OWN PEOPLE. How can you say that there never were WMD's in Iraq? Lets say that again. HE USED THEM AGAINST HIS OWN PEOPLE. We know he had them. Everyone knows he had them. Everyone but you I guess.

The US Cavalry used weapons against the native Americans a hundred and fifty years ago too, but the Brits and Frogs never did anything about that and no one invaded the USA. ATR Driver get over it, its an Iraqui civil matter. How did Saddam get rid of the WMD with the CIA and the UN watching every move? OJ Simpson left more evidence and got off.

What does this have with the original thread content?

It doesn't have anything to do with this thread. Neither did your comment that "iraq does not and NEVER DID HAVE WMD's." I pointed out that they did have them in the past, and there was no evidence that he has disposed of them in any way. And if you really think that the UN "weapons inspections" equates in any way to watching their every move you are very naive indeed.

Oh yeah? Well, Bill Clinton got in trouble for gooing all over an interns dress and Hillary got rich on an insider trading scam and I think I want a beer. As for the original thread, THE FAT ASS is TRASH. That simple enough for you?

The United States and British militaries have been in the country for 2 1/2 years, and have scoured the countryside. They haven't found any WMD's. The British and US intellegence communites have admitted that they were wrong in the assessment that there were WMD's.

If you know where they are stashed, fess up. If not, shut up.

If you wish to discuss further, please start another thread in the non aviation forums.

Faux news? Get some new material and learn to think for yourself.

You listen to Oriley spitting that $hit on that network and you're telling me to think for myself??

Tell me where I stated that I listen to O'Reilly anywhere on this thread?

And by the way if you are going to bash a pundit you might want to have the intelligence to at least spell his name correctly.

It's very interesting that you can't answer the questions asked of you after you sling your insults. Your statements have done nothing more than to make you look like a total idiot. If you had any sort of intelligence I guess you would try to defend your rediculous statements but since you lack the intellect and education to do such I guess it's just as easy to ignore it all. You making legal statements about this fata$$ with her t-shirt is a prime example. You dont even have a clue as to the contract of carriage agreement which is made public by every Part 121 carrier.

Ignorance is bliss aint it Turbodriver?

LOL there won't be a lawsuit because she has NO CASE!

Taken from the SWA Contract of Carriage:

The sign is written right ON her ticket! (She's prolly not literate enough to read the fine print.) No need to post it at the gates! ;)

Besides sweet cheeks, if she does sue. When she loses (and she will), Herb does counter sue for legal damages. Her bad! :D
Dispatcher,

I think you (and I as well) are wasting our time. This moron has no clue what he is talking about and will not respond to sound logic and facts. Pretty soon he is going to be telling us that it is Bush's fault that she was kicked off the SWA flight.

He has been proven wrong time and time again and wont even address the questions asked of him. Either becuase he is too stupid or he is just simple flamebait.

GO W!!!

Problem is that this country isnt Christian anymore..this is a fight between the people of non faith and those that have it..and that is why we are in such trouble if the left gets a hold of power! I believe in leaders that have strong faith and convictions.

Jim Jones had alot of faith and conviction too. Does this mean you would drink his brand of kool-aid because of this?

Willful ignorance is our common enemy.

She will lose the lawsuit. Obscene speach is NOT protected. She could be denied access to almost any place (court, school, the library, my house). Furthermore, the "sign" in the door is the contract inculded in here ticket (but in this case it is not required, because the "speech" is obscene).

Reagan was widely denounced as some one who "polorized" the nation. He was much hated and maligned by the left. I miss him too.

ATR driver, get on the bandwagon and read the entire thread before you key the mike.

Good for the Captain of that flight . . . although it might have been the Lead FA, and the Capt backed her up. Either way, good job!

That lady is lucky I wasn't the Captain, I would have had her flogged.

Arrrr, Matey!

Liberals can't stand Bush. They hate him. They are willing to believe, without question, anything they hear that discredits Bush. Sometimes I wonder if their source for negative Bush info is Saturday Night Live.

Those are just more reasons for me to support him. They will take any source of negative info about Bush and run with i.e. Dan Rather. If liberals hate him so much he must be doing something right.

I'm not going to sit here and try to convince you that you should like him, or that your opinion is worthless, or that you shouldn't think the way you do. But I will say that I don't give 2 $hits about what you think. It really makes no difference to me if you like him or not.

And you're certainly not changing anyone's mind with retarted comments like "There are no WMD's in Iraq", "He's fighting Daddy's war", "Why don't you send your kid over there", or "What did Iraq have to do with 9/11", Get over it.

This is off topic...but I saw a bumper sticker that said:

Piss off a liberal...get a job, be successful, and live happy.

Classic.
