I don't think that's quite right. The ANA deal still requires the 6 months of training, from what I've read here and elsewhere.
Is that correct?

Don't know about Asia, but here in the middle east..(one of the regions mentioned in the original post) type-rated pilots are fast tracked...Asia is a different story i guess..
