I'm interested why you left NJA after 7 years (recently?)? It is pretty rare to have turnover that high up the list. Was it specifically to fly for XO?Life is good on the road and its better than the 7 years I did at NetJets..

Perhaps he left before the latest contract was ratified... As I recall, it was a pretty rough environment at NJA during those few months before the latest agreement - many people were leaving.
Good thing is that XOJet continues to grow (from AIN Online):
"Cessna Aircraft announced today at the NBAA Convention that charter operator XOJET has placed a $600 million order for 30 Citation X business jets."
:beer:Normally to go to XO, you have to have Command Screened, probably in your 12-16 year point in your career. You need to be qualified as an Aircraft Commander in the weapon system you will be operating, and be prepared to take over as Commanding Officer.
Can you get into XO as a captain on the X? If so is there a min jet time req? Does XO do much or any intl flying?
Can someone refresh my memory? What is the starting salary for FOs? What is the likely 1st-year total with per diem, etc.?
Thanks
Anybody heard from XO here of late? I take it they've been conducting interviews.
I think we are going to interview for one more group in December and they are planning on X rated for this group. Hiring should pick up early next year. Classes are full thru December.
Are there any rumors floating around regarding the NJA new TA and it's implications at XOJET? Will they follow suit?
Is there any talk on opening more domiciles/regions?They have been working on a new long term pay package for quite a while. I have seen drafts, and it would have been industry leading prior to NJ's new TA. I think it is unlikely they will make changes just because NJ's package is better, but you never know.
Either way, congratulations to the NetJets pilot group. It is good for all of us each time the bar is raised.
Does that mean you all get plowed at the managers reception at the Embassy Suites after a duty day? I guess those Swift guys are having a positive effect over at XO!
