The pilot group is as good as any around. A great bunch of people!! It's the airplanes and management that is of concern.[/QUOTE]

Well then, why work there? If you really think the airplanes are of concern, your're an idiot for even running one checklist. Quit. But instead, come on this board and whine like I'm doing now. It's like you have no choice. Yeah, I didn't need to open this thread, and respond like a dlck, but give me a break, I was just having fun. In the grand scheme of things, can't you see how gay the first post was? If some guy with 1200 hours leaves one regional for another, who really cares? It happens all of the time. How much time did he spend with all of you? Ten months, big deal. It's like this message board is for Colganites to brag about getting out/surviving and starting at the bottom somewhere else. And at a regional nonetheless. Some of these guys make it sound like they just got a gig in the space shuttle.

Have fun annoying pilots at CHQ about all those crazy times at Colgan.

I guess I'll second FN FAL on this.

You don't have to second me on that, I don't really know anybody that works at the Colgan airline or any of the Colgans. I was just poking fun.

I'm pretty sure those guys work pretty hard to get and keep their jobs over there. I just thought it was a little odd that there were threads posted every time someone left the place. You never see that with Chicago Express, GLA, XJ or the other regionals.

Hey DO-jet-dweeb (and I realize you're trying to 'splain an earlier post), not everyone from Colgan sidesteps to a regional. By the way, I made it out (twice), survived, grateful for the valuable PIC time, but the company sucks. cherp is right on on most things he says, maybe a little more harsh on them than I believe, but still accurate.

Space shuttle assignment soon!

Why do all Colgan pilots have to announce their resignation here?
I think we need to blame Druglord for starting the tradition.

The reason Colganites do this is because the system is spread out so people can't congregate and comiserate at any one time. Its easier than using up a bunch of daytime minutes. Plus, its fun to get Chper on his high horse.

I hear there may be yet another Golden Coral openning in Manassas. Good news for some.

It was a pleasure to lead the pack Cpt Lucky! As I understand the tone of "thanks for working for us" became more and more hostile over the months..

hey someone told me that delta filed Chapter11 today? Anyone else here that?

Hmmm nice message. Keep in mind, if/when UAir tanks, CHQ's parent company Wexford Capital will likely buy up the pieces and potentially rename the replacement "Republic" - this could potentially happen. People at CHQ could be in a pretty good position right now.
Sure, if you think its good to fly bigger planes..170/190/737 at substanderd pay. The bottom feeders are killing this industry!
