I thought USAPA was transparent. No inside deals, no FPL w*************************, real voting on contracts and side letters and new blood in office, not the same ALPA hacks that had the old AAA looking like the Hatfield/McCoys when it came to domicile reps. Bradford(really Cleary) had a vision to be as pure as the Virgin Mary! Tell me it ain't so!

Ok....it ain't so :)

In all seriousness, it's a hell of a lot better than ALPA was and regardless of how our differences end up getting settled (or, not settled, as the case may be) the vast majority of us are happy with the change.

Had an ATLAS guy recently recently express his congratulations on getting rid of ALPA. They had some of the same problems with the Beast, and Prater, that we did.

Had some DAL exNWA guys onthe crew van. Congrulating on ridding alpa, as he said he wished NWA had the balls to do the same. Said he felt they got screwed with their integration, just not as bad as the US pilots did...

But he did say he felt more like a real pilot with the new delta uniform they were wearing (snicker ha.) as he was uncomfortably trying to figure out what to do with the new sparkly hat he had acquired...

The irony is that the NWA and AAA MEC's (along with other MEC's) helped tailor and vote in ALPA merger language via the BOD. Anyone complaining about how ALPA National functions, probably ought to be looking a little closer as to how their own MEC is conducting business.

Nah. It's much easier to blame everyone else for your problems.

Gee that's funny. I've had lots of DAL guys claim the same thing (that they got screwed). I guess it was a pretty fair integration after all?

And how would a USAPA-like in-house union make things better? Oh, it wouldn't.

Yeah, I'm sure that's exactly what he said. I've ridden on NWA and Delta a number of times since there award. They've all told me, "I'm just glad we're not in that horrible mess you're in." I'd like to think they're learning from our (*by which I mean YOUR) mistakes.

I know exactly how that poor guy feels. I felt the same way when I put on that "proud" USAir uniform the 1st time. Although I figured out that the sparkly hat was suppose to go on my head.

Well then by God, if there's ever an election for a new son of god and you're running against Jesus Christ you'll get my vote, you pillar of integrity, you.
You'd do better to emulate me rather than mock me.

And BTW, I'm not a Christian so even your mocking statement makes no sense.

Not "Christian" either, but anyone living in this country over the last 40 years would understand.....especially a West pilot, right? I mean, you guys are smart, right? You certainly act as if you're smarter than everyone else on the Web. But, you say it makes no sense....ok.

So how would I "do better" to emulate you? More respect here in cyber space? I care about that? Good one!

Listen, Chief, it'll be a cold August day in PHX before I try to emulate you or any of the rest of your band of merry Internet Cowboys. This place makes my wife's 5th graders look mature, and your self righteous group of windfall seeking, wannabe widebody pilots is the last place I'll be looking for role models :)

Gee,that's too bad. It would have made for a vast improvement in your overall personality and character. By the way,I'd like to meet your wife someday. I've never met a human sacrafice before.

You wrote to me, "... you pillar of integrity, you." So you would do better to have integrity, like me. A nice start would be to acknowledge that binding arbitration means binding and not binding only if you agree with the arbitrator.

Any thing else you need explained?

Binding, kind of like a marriage?

Good day in court today, about 50+ West pilots in business casual, 3 "OLD" East F/O's in uniform. Guess who's phone goes off about 11 AM for about 10 seconds till Grandpas figures out it is him? The judge had to go over basic court protocol once again.

Well, then that's that.....you guys probably won. Congrats.

Guys. Even if the West wins, USAPA will appeal it. This might be a case of who runs out of money first. Then again, maybe the company will step in.

Neither side will run out of money and the company will definately not be stepping in. The appellate court might decide not to take the case and that'll be the end of the litigation.

Hey Skipper, Why do you think ALPA got $h!tcanned? If your premise is "because of ALPA merger language" then you are misinformed.

ALPA exists to buy caviar and chateaubriand for "leaders" who are willing to give away the pilot pension, work rules, vacation, medical, etc. etc. on behalf of those who consider it splurging to eat spam or ball park franks.

Parella Cleary et al get FPL paid out at 120percent of their normal line guarentee. This from a "union" who had until recently no FPL loss wriiten in their C&b/l's No wonder why our guy wants to run for President ! Seems like the honey currently handling greviences found a loop hole to exploit so she can feather her own nest at your expense. When will you easties ever learn....

Your impotent attempt to compare USAPA expenses to ALPA is prejudiced and factually unsupported. Isn't there a goat movie star somewhere feeling neglected?:D

It was my understanding that USAir pilots got to vote on those issues. I think they called them MOUs LOAs new BK contracts.

Ive heard a rumor that the Arbitrator told USAir that they should withdraw their petition for arbitration because they will not like the outcome.

I was curious how much money the USAir pilots have lost since the Seniority Ruling, the number stated in the cockpit was 30k per year for a capt. Is that correct??

Every pilot should have the couth to know that family member comments are out of bounds.

Wanna bet ? You might want to talk to Parella about it. She's the one who found the loophole and pushed the issue with the BPR. You guys are so f-n ignorant of what goes on in the world around you that it simply defiers logic. By the way, sorry to hear you fell neglected . Seems like a personal problem if you ask me, although I've heard the goats are relieved.

And this differs from USAPA's 120 percent over line guareentee payout for FPL how again?

That is not my "premise".

I was writing to the fact that many blame "national" for their issue's, when in fact national's actions are a result of the direction given by the Executive council and BOD, who in turn have been given direction by the individual MEC's.

I have a pretty good understanding of how ALPA operates. I just think that taking responsibility for an "outcome" is a good first step. Pushing blame up the ladder doesn't always fix the problem, fixing the problem starts at the MEC level.

Have a good weekend.

Hi TZ.........nice post.

Trying to use facts to educate the USAPA minions is a waste of time.

It's their way or the highway.

Hopefully in a couple of weeks, Seham, Brengle, and all his D-Bag defense team will get a humiliating kick in the crotch.

Stay tuned...........airbusbb
