Nope, ALPA president has the right to sign a contract with the company without membership ratification. If USAPA thought they could get away with it, they would do the same. And the ignorant east sheep would be none the wiser.

A little union experience would go along way with the east pilots. Unfortunately they engage the A/P and go to sleep.

Haven't visited here for months or years, but it just amazes me that you guys spend your lives rehashing thoughts like these over and over and over and over. What the ALPA President can or cannot do? What? And dissing the union chops of an organization that started from scratch and has successfully navigated a merger where the company is basically unable to whipsaw us on compensation, because we all get the same money right away? Dude, you are living so far in the past you can't think straight. That's OK....just keep writing those checks to Harper.

Silver said nothing more than every other court has said - That Intent to Unfairly Represent and actually Failing to Fairly Represent are two different things. Once they actually try to discard the Nic and present a DOH plan - they will have satisfied the requirement for a ripe DFR and an injunction will be issued. The court can protect from harm, but not from sabre rattling and promises of harm (in this case).

Prior to that, the courts just shake their head at the stupidity of pilots to not remove a tyrannical and non-performing union. For 8 years no one has demanded that USAPA defend itself against another union in an election and they have ridden a 200-some vote margin of victory into a monumental waste of money and cemented the hatred between two groups of people. All for nothing!

Actually, she said "Denied" on all counts.

Keep writing those checks!!!! Or can you guys pay Harper electronically?

Nope and nope. Started through the use of ALPA assets and lists and they have been successful at nothing. You really should wake up. Regardless of your bigger check recently, the money you have lost over the course of this is gone forever and is more than you can imagine.

The longer you're here, the more that reality will haunt you.

USAPA won nothing yesterday but delay on the merits of the list(s) it will pass to APA and still owes the West fair representation. AOL asked for the world on the passing of the MOU and got nothing, but USAPA lost a seat at the table at single CBA according to Silver's world.

Carl, explain again why USAPA should bother showing up at any table? (other than the one where the BPR stuffs it's collective face on FPL at the members expense)

"Que -SAPA -SAPA What ever will be, will be".

It's not more than you can imagine - it's the time value of an average $50,000 x 7 years- +/- $400,000 per pilot

And never forget that republic e170 drivers made a LOT more than their e190 drivers.

Such intelligent pride the east must feel

And the pride of knowing they undercut every pilot from every company while they lost that

So...can anyone post said decision??

Bc ....imagine this :-/. Once again both sides claiming victory

Plaintiff made 4 claims, Silver held trial on the merits...

Judgment in favor of USAPA

Claim 2: USAirways breached its contract to use the NIC...
Judgment in favor of USAirways.

Claim 3: AOL is entitled to attorney's fees...
Judgment, dismissed

Claim 4: AOL is entitled to separate representational agent for SLI...
Judgement in favor of USAPA
