MCDU is absolutely right - no people and no money out in AWA country. California? Nevada? Arizona? Do they even have indoor plumbing out there? All the population and all the money are in the northeast where usair is king - just take a drive around the big airports - JFK, Dulles, EWR and check out the heavy iron they have there....usair has always been a goldmine and always will be....quarterly reports for the last two decades are your proof!

D-bag.

Hmm, WN coming to LGA. DAL planning to shove it up and break it off in every east US market (including Int'l).

What was that about yields, DogDU?

AWA brought nothing to the table. The jobs are worthless. More furloughs to come out west if revenue does not improve. Again, your West job is worthless. You brought a job to the merger that is totally worthless.

Capish

You really couldn't be that stupid could you? Your job before the merger was less than a month away from going poof! You can't get anymore worthless than that. Oh wait....no integrity and a worthless word. Guess I was wrong.:smash:

Why does everyone forget.

The east pilots that post here are SOCIOPATHS and conversation with them is futile.

Up is down. Right is left. Blah Blah Blah DOH DOH.

Blah Blah Blah NIC NIC NIC

I do not blame the West for wanting the Nic award. It would place their most junior guy (2005 new hire at the time of merger) O Dell ahead of 25% of USAIR East pilots. That is a gain of 25% in his relative seniority in 3 years.

Instead he is furloughed and the 600 East pilots who would be below him get to keep their jobs in the East bases and aircraft.
The Nic is award has no R&C to protect flying the EAST have. Thanks to the Nic award not being used, many East pilots were able to keep their jobs.

The top 500 the EAST has on top only about half are left.

What you fail to recognize is that :
1.the old USAIR was unable to meet their payroll and the west did in fact make that payroll for them while this deal was being finalized.

2. Additionally the pilots you say O'Dell would have gained seniority from were in fact furloughed at the time of this merger; so that statement makes no sense. (they did not have a job at USAIRWAYs)

3. Pilots from the Old USAirways are now suing USAPA because when they were brought into this mess years before the America West deal they in fact did not receive DOH.

4. Many East Pilots are already talking about brining back ALPA so the reality is USAPA is nothing more than a pain in the ass for everyone which is about to meet its demise.

So MCDU, prepare yourself for the inevitable and get use to wherever it is George Nicolau positioned you on the Arbitrated List. Its not an award for either party; its purely an arbitrated list that met the requirement stipulated in an agreement before both parties decided to enter into arbitration. You probably dont want to recognize that agreement since you didn't get the windfall you were hoping for but you damn sure got more then you deserve as evidenced now by your disparaging comments for the west pilots. Its time for you to grow up son. Your comments are nothing more then emotional tirades. You and your USAPA friends are doing nothing for the company or the industry with your constant moaning over something that was long ago decided. GROW THE HELL UP!
