Hi!

USAJet mostly flies to the 48 states, Mexico and Eastern Canada. Sometimes we fly further afield, usually Central America, the Islands, or Western Canada.

My last trip was MFE-MMSP-LRD-LIT-ORF-YIP.

Have a great day!

PS-They had my fuel stop originally scheduled for TCL, but then they figured out I was a Plainsman, so they knew I didn't want to set foot there. War Eagle!

Yeah, things are picking up...we just got done with an Active Aero trip....

That was for GM

DAY-CYHM-MEM-MMIO-LRD....

Woot ;)

Ah yes, the good life at USAJet.

So, are these wages going to be here for a while, or is the payscale going to continually act like the stock market; up today, down tomorrow.

According to Randy you can really rake in some serious dough at the expense of flying 100 hours per month.

Let's all do something that is the equivalent of a good 'ol fashioned KYIP group hug. For all of those who drive to YIP to go fly, let's all embrace and let out a collective "this place sux!!"

I miss Zantop!! Well, not really. They were trash too, just a little ahead of their time.

Lets assess pay now that it has been "restored" (by the way Uncle Ray's memo almost brought a tear to my eye.) Basically USAJ DA20 pilots falls back in line to be the second worst paid behind Ameristar for an average month, and well behind pay at top dog Cherry Air. For the DC9, it is the worst pay of any 9 operators out there period. Go 7 miles down the street and the USAJ Capts are on the FO pay scale. Or you can sell all your days down the toilet and make a respectable wage, but you can’t have both. The average 4th yr Airtran FO has 14days off a month and banks 70K (but there are very few 4th yr Airtran FO’s b/c their Capts on average making 107K with a min guarantee of 94K.) The DC-9 is a mainline narrow body a/c not an RJ.

Yet USAJ management is not done tinkering. Just how can guarantee be lowered? They want a pay scale like Cherry but don't have a business plan like Cherry (not volume.) Ah yes the answer! Pay per day! Folks this should read like a viagra commercial where all the benefits are read slowly and with excitement, yet it ends with a speed talking shallow voice and all you can hear is “may result in blindness.”

Me thinks *disclaimer, this "me thinks" excerpt does not represent the collective pilot group or management of USAJ as a whole* that pay per day will bring the out of touch upper managements crystal ball (aka projection) more closely into the pilots lives. Bids come out for a busy month, every line is made up of lines with only 8 days off! PAY DAY! Then for the slow month it comes out with 14 days off! Uh oh, can't pay my alimony and my mortgage, sorry kids! I think this will take stability out of the QOL, and then lean the ranks (which a pay cut was just taken to keep everyone and let the nature of attrition take its course.)

Like a previous poster said, its like a pay scale tied to the stock market... Bad idea! Its time to get a Union on the property so you can have a voice in representing yourself as the other people discuss your pay and work rules. It is time to have a voice at USAJ! Or stick with the current way of life: A memo comes out or a meeting is called to announce the new management idea that directly affect the pilots. Then there are sour grapes, a few go to the CP's office, others to Randy, and then there is a pilot meeting where there is more complaining. Talk is cheap, and that is all the USAJ pilots have. Get representation NOW!

Well lets get some representation on property so we can at least hold our current pay through next summer. Everything will be up for negotition. But most importantly Brian, Marty, Green Briar, Berkshire, and a few others will be stuck with a business no one will touch and some management will be forced to leave. Heck two union votes in less than 24 months doesn't say much. Just think we could change everything and make it difficult for them, it already sucks for us.

Good now aka Goaround, USA JET PILOT, ABUSED PILOT who is Anwar will stop complain on a flightinfo forum about how bad he has it. IF you google your name it means Devoted to God Maybe you should channel all the pent up anger you have do something more important and serve higher calling with it. Option #2 you can continue to bitch on Flight Info, next time when they(AAC/USAJET) decided to layoff 30 people you will be Fo be a since you only upgraded to Captain DA-20 in 2004.So it only lasted 3 months and you complained allot at least you still have job because there about 50 other non pilot people that don't have a job @AAC/Usajet.
If you think Ameristar Management is so great go work there currently looking for people. Here there mins.
