Not in PHL when you want to be anyplace but, including with your young child. Not at all.

I feel your pain brother. Got 4 young ones myself- one of which has type 1 diabetes and the wife is pregnant. With a 2000 mile commute, the recall is bittersweet. Time to seriously consider moving to PHL or CLT.

I just looked at SC real estate. There are decent homes to be had for under $100,000. I may someday soon have 2 more properties enabling me to describe myself as more than a transient/vagrant.

go to CLT - when I can I'm moving back down there.

150K (or less or more if you like) gets you a 3 to 4 br home built within the last 10 years 15 to 20 minutes from the airport. Just be careful in picking the neighborhood.

You can't even get the driveway for that within an hour outside Philly.

This just in...
The 15 recalls that were previously announced for a 11/15/2010 class date has been expanded to 20 pile its. This makes it all the more likely that all East furloughees who desire to return to an E-190 gig will have the opportunity to do so. It is also even more likely that West furloughed pile its may be offered to join us out east. I look forward to meeting more of them.
