The idiots on Fox or maybe CNN also said Age 65 was repealed a few years ago and the pilots could have been 67 or 68. So much for the truth I guess.

I thought it was funny that CNN had a talking head from ALPA (Cap Rory Kay) - well, they had him tagged as from the Air Line Pilots Association.

CNN just showed the flight track. Looks like immediately after the strike, they turned directly toward the Hudson and then tracked the river south to touchdown abeam 50th St. 7 miles of total flight from TO to ditching.

Outstanding SA. Outstanding airmanship.

The crew earned every paycheck they have ever cashed and will ever cash on this one flight.

Did anyone else catch one of the Fox news guys mention the pilots' experience? They then mentioned that that age 65 rule was raised and now thank goodness we've got those highly qualified 68, 69 year old pilots flying these planes now. I nearly fell out of my chair....
