No....that's the co-pilot.

Umm.... "co" meaning ALSO...or:
:
"co- We can trace the prefix co- back to the Latin prefix co-, a form of com-, meaning “with.” In English, the prefix co- means “together, joint, jointly.” In words such as coheir and coedit, co- has simply been affixed to words that already existed to create new words whose meanings are easy to guess."--Bartleby

A tool on Fox News...mentioned the fact that they recently raised the retirement age from age 65... he was guessing that the Captain might be 67-68 years old, and the passengers were lucky for all the experience these "older" pilots have.

Looks like EVERYONE involved wit this today brought their "A" game. I raise my glass to everyone !

Great job guys

No no cold water is hard! The Fox reported said when he bare-foot water ski'd he wanted cold water because it was harder. There for, thank goodness the Hudson was cold.

Sheesh.

The idiots on Fox or maybe CNN also said Age 65 was repealed a few years ago and the pilots could have been 67 or 68. So much for the truth I guess.

I thought it was funny that CNN had a talking head from ALPA (Cap Rory Kay) - well, they had him tagged as from the Air Line Pilots Association.

Yes, a big Bravo Zulu to the crew - good job!

CNN just showed the flight track. Looks like immediately after the strike, they turned directly toward the Hudson and then tracked the river south to touchdown abeam 50th St. 7 miles of total flight from TO to ditching.

Outstanding SA. Outstanding airmanship.

The crew earned every paycheck they have ever cashed and will ever cash on this one flight.

Yeah, I guess we are all "overpaid bus drivers"... Hey, I'd like to see most bus drivers do THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
