CNN just showed the flight track. Looks like immediately after the strike, they turned directly toward the Hudson and then tracked the river south to touchdown abeam 50th St. 7 miles of total flight from TO to ditching.

Outstanding SA. Outstanding airmanship.

The crew earned every paycheck they have ever cashed and will ever cash on this one flight.
