Yea, I would love to ignore General Lee. But then again I would miss a post of him telling us about his next movie. If you guys didn't know, General Lee is a Stunt Double For Gay Porns! Midget ones also!!

Wsurf, nobody from AWAC is complaining about losing KASE so I don't think any feathers are being ruffled. Secondly, nobody cares about whether all engines are operating...it's the engine out performance that is critical. You know nothing about the airport or aircraft involved besides having ridden in one.

Didn't I type that I didn't know what the engine out performance was!! Read it again you NUB! Anyway, an Approach is an Approach, is an Approarch.
You read the plates, look at your performance charts, and fly the plane like its suppose too. Is the BAC easier? Sure it is! But soooo fuc$in what! You have to know the limits of your aircraft, plane and simple. So don't come on here preaching that you guys and the BAC are the only ones that can do it right.... Nub!!

It's not just any approach however. If you are referring to the Red Table Contact Maneuver, the approach plate states it is for the BAe-146. Additionally the published balked landing procedures refer to specific BAe-146 flap and airbrake configurations. I don't see how anyone can fly an approach that states it is specifically for one type of aircraft. I don't claim to be an expert and could be proven wrong. I am just reading what the plate says.

Easy there tiger!
An approach is an approach is an approach, but.......
I can assure you OO will be sending pilots to some pretty intense KASE training. The FAA will require it, guaranteed. Do you do that for BTM, HLN, MSO, COD, or RNO? ASE is a different animal. Lots of AWAC pilots are bummed to see DEN go away. Few of them will miss night IMC into KASE. That should tell you something. Can it be done in the 700? Yep, or OO wouldn't do it. Will it be weight restricted? Probably. Will it be a whole lot of fun? Not so likely. AWAC and the BAC are not the only guys that can do it, that's for sure. XJ and the AVRO would also be a good choice. Perhaps the 700 is a great choice. Aerodata and time will tell......

I heard that they will be restricted to VFR and cap the seats to 50-40 max. Anyone heard this?

Dunno, but sounds very restricted to just even try to get some revenue out of such conditions.
