The exact Xs and Os are what they are. It's basically a fair integration. But to get that fair integration out of LUAL pilots? This is an enormous win for Continental pilots! That can not be stressed enough. These same senior LUAL pilots have put their fellow ALPA pilots on the street and then flew their airplanes for 15 years. We out maneuvered LUAL on many levels.

Besides USAir east and AirTran (already mentioned), he also represented Northwest in the Delta merger. And he's got several other losses in arbitration vs Freund.

Let me get this straight, F.O O, you are proclaiming some sort of projection that if AirTran would've went to arbitration you would have gotten something like the United folks got? Wow, you have a great imagination. IMO, Katz is the idiot that came up with CAL's strategy, he is also the same idiot that you guys hired and listened to, to develop your rant about "somewhere between DoH and relative". You guys would've came in with some over the top list and gotten the smack down, just like CAL did. Don't fool yourself!

The 'United folks' got skrewed. Major windfall for LCAL; the problem with LCAL's perception is that they wanted an even bigger windfall than they got.
