I have to agree....Not to be doom and gloom but UAL will consolidate and the last guys on seniority lists usually pay the price. If this was your dream though, good luck.
That's the word on the street, but with a DAL/NWA combo that only leaved CAL to merge with UAL, and banking on one and only one particular merger to be aprooved is a gigantic leap of faith. United may very well end up without a "dance partner" if DAL goes with NWA. Short term: less chance of a furlough. Long term: less viable airline? We shall see.
