I think the precision/northeast battle will be a lot like the ASA/Skywest debate but much bigger and with potential to be much worse...

I really do hope not. Precision and Northeast ceased operations on 20 June 1994. Northeast had an inhouse union and Precision was ALPA. But inefficient management is what put the final nail in that coffin. It was a Northwest Airlink setup based in BOS.

My understanding is that personnel from TSA would be used to staff GoJet until there was sufficient staff to run independently. I wonder how long HK will keep that up, and if there is anyone that will call him on it.

Im having a hard time believing that a TSA airplane was used to fly ORD-ALB route. If its true then HK is taking the intermingling of companies a step farther.

That's been going on for a long time. Anyway, the two companies are the same thing! Go over to the training center and look around. Everybody there does BOTH. Even the training dept is doing both. Clearly it doesn't matter that anymore. They won their court battle and now have carte blanche to rape us. Well, at least we can still give minimum effort!!!

TSA planes have been flying GJ routes quite a bit lately. Its been brought to the attention of the union, however not sure what is going to come out of it. Either way it really doesnt matter cause HK won the court case and some how has made the people that really matter think that we are 2 companies, I just hope that a line is crossed soon and that we can take them back to court...if thats even possible.

the only reason that alpa never had a chance was because of all the TWA pilot that hate alpa. At the time of the vote there where around 50 pilots that where allowed to vote. I think that with 150 pilots on property there might be chances to vote in alpa.

I say to tell all of your furlough pilot to come over to gojet and we will have an alpa drive.

No thanks. We have enough SCABs as members already.

TSA flies a lot of GJ routes, sometimes they even use the airport reserves or junior for them. Or maybe GJ flies TSA routes. Either way you look at it its totally seperate companies.:puke:

Seriously guys ... Get out of TSA now. I left after almost two years (I missed upgrade by one month at one point in time), and am now an 8th month FO at XJT. You cannot possibly know what it is like on the other side. There were three TSA guys in my newhire XJT class, and we are all so much happier in everything we do. I just laugh when I hear Express guys griping and complaining, because they don't even know how good they have it. Pay, benies, work rules, managment, equipment ... and it's like that at other places too. Go to NetJets, CHQ, Great Lakes ... who cares, just not G0jets. If you're an FO with less than a year, listen: You will never upgrade anyway. Go fly 1900's for a 135 carrier and build PIC turbine time. Good luck to all over there.

this just in.....flight managers are now questioning pilots and asking for doctors notes when using sick time. that's not right is it?

As far as having a note from a doctor...

No-where in the contract does it say that you have to have a note. However, in the GOM it does mention "recurring absenteeism" . I foresee a case where if you call in sick a few times within a few months they could use this as a prelude to call you in to see a flight manager. Though, it specifically mentions that you go and see your supervisor (flight manager?).
This leads us to the other problem... It seems that someone has decided that RZ is just that person! Therefor, they want you to go to STL!
On your day off!

Waking up with a headache, stomach problems, toothache.. there are a lot of reason to call in sick but NOT go to the doctor. If you self medicate, you shouldn't fly... but just be aware of the recourse. At the same time, don't be pressured to fly if you are under the weather.

Everyone needs to be aware of the playing field. As far as I'm concerned... if I'm called in for a first time offense, to STL.. you need to call your union official. I would think that it would lay heavy on my mind, and not sure if I could then actually fly my trip.. ask your union official to see about getting pulled off line to get this resolved immediately.
Remember.. IMSAFE.

In the last 6 months, I have called in sick twice.. both times WITH a doctors note. HOWEVER, that was when I was supposedly "giving minimal effort" so I won't be doing that anymore!

Always
Motch

Are you TSA boys familiar with the term "Caste System"? Ask Uncle Hulas what that means. Good luck to all of you that are left. I did a year and a half there and it was a really good pilot group. You guys deserve better.

Cheers!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, I feel better now.

Have to admit, today was an amazing day for my little airline.. the amount of juniored pilots I ran into, not to mention deadheading crewmembers all through the system. I wasn't here for the last contract talks, but everyone who I run into that was is saying that this takes the cake!

Gonna be an interesting weekend and month of August!

I hope any of you GayJet pilots don't ever plan on rideing in the cockpit of a RAH airplane because most of our pilot group does not tolerate your actions. By the way all of you Gayjet pilots are pieces of trash.

nice!!! coming from the pilot group that is trying to stick it to the XJT guys. isn't that the pot calling the kettle black? oh and im pretty sure GoJet isn't going to be suffering to bad with your jumpseat warning. considering they don't have any problems getting to work now.

Hey Scumbag! I can not believe that you're trying to compare your actions at GoJet to being a pilot for RAH. You were the one that went there knowing full well you were screwing over another pilot group while they were locked in a fight with managment.

RAH guys were hired to do fly for RAH, not screw anybody. You guys are fricken delusional and spineless. I do my best to pass on the info about your actions and the damage you've caused the industry with your actions just as Freedom did several years ago.

Turbosnake? More like another snake in the grass crawling on his belly. Scum.

Same dribble, new day. By the way, I have NEVER been denied the
jumpseat from anybody.

Did I say anything about a jumpseat pilotbrainless?

You may not be denied jumpseats but take this to heart. If I ever have the oppurtunity to do interviews, no GoJet pilot will be hired by my company. Just like the Freedom A listers, you've created much harm by your inability to see the nuts and bolts of your actions.

Hey pilotbrain.... why dont you and the rest of gayjet pus$ies go and excercise each others sloangs. That is one non-negotiable requirement to get on with gayjet right? You sure dont have to have pilots skills or even a lincese to get on with those scabs. ill be happy to show you the bird, so you can go whine like little pus$ies to your management. Ok, now your turn... fire back!
