Ocean Reef!
I think you guys have beat this XO Jet rumor to death. Know-one is buying it anymore.
You can call it beating it to death or anything else you want to. That won't change the impending outcome, though...
TMC is starting to head in the right direction. Since management won't even discuss improving the working conditions, the pilots are going to start an organizing drive. Managers are taking pilots out to dinner, at company expense, to try and convince them a union isn't needed. We will see what happens.
Just wait until KR starts telling them, "I am the best representative that the pilots could have"... or some similar thing.
Look on the bright side
Management might give each pilot an RV of his choice from the owners former company
Ha ha, that's a good one! Probably not.

In the fall of 2008, Mart claims he found out that Liegl had stolen "hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash from factory vending machines owned by Forest River." Liegl also required the company to buy supplies and use airline charter services from other companies he owned, at drastically inflated prices, "pouring millions of dollars into Liegl's pockets over a period of years," the lawsuit states.

Mart says he reported the alleged fraud to Buffett, who is not named in the suit. He then confronted Liegl, seeking his assurance that he would retire as promised, but Liegl verbally abused Mart and threatened to kill him, according to the complaint.
We won! 120 yes, and 57 no of 192 eligible voters. TMC Jets is now an organized pilot group!
If you don't get parity with NJ you won't be raising the bar.Congrats guys. You've made our profession stronger.
If you don't get parity with NJ you won't be raising the bar.
And the NJ contract, which would appear to be pretty decent compared to others, isn't the only bar to be compared to for raising it. What if you can secure a contract better than the pay and work rules at XOJet? Or better than FLOPS? Or Flex? Now you've given the ones below you something to strive for. The industry begins rising. The bar will be coming up.
I don't want to put to fine a point on this because I generally agree with this post and others you've made.
But the fact is the TMC pilots will be ahead of the XO and FX pilots the minute they ratify a CBA containing the standard "just cause" provision, thereby removing their at-will status. This is regardless of what else ends up in their agreement.
XOs CEO sent out a very interesting note to the pilots, sharing the results of TMCs union vote. He has been paying close attention to the proceedings as they are a close partner of ours. He basically agreed that the union vote was a sign of a failure on the part of management. Will be very interesting to see how he responds to the recently submitted comprehensive proposal with this vote fresh in his memory.
Nice work TMC pilot group!
