Rode the bus from the employee parking lot at STL. Couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor dummy in the GJ uni. He pretty much stared at his shoes sheepishly as fellow riders telepathically shot waves of scorn at him. Looked kinda like when your dog knows he's been caught in the act.

Hey,
Did you think to find out the make, model and lic# of his car so concerned pilots could leave him informational notes about the alter ego concept in case he is on a trip and not around?
PBR

Easy, now. If he was a new hire FO, cut him some slack. The poor bastard probably had no idea what he was getting himself into. (Think back to your first days in this industry. Unless your daddy was God's gift to Pan Am, DL, UA, whoever, you probably didn't have a whole lot of an idea how things worked either.) If he was a captain that transitioned, different story.

Ignorance is no excuse.

just found out a couple people i used to know might be flyin for them...............

I just wonder at what point these people ask themselves if it was really worth it. I mean, surely they expected such treatment before they took the job. I don't buy them not knowing about it, my understanding is that most of the GJ pilots had prior experience in this industry before they went over. It can't be easy going to work every day knowing that the pilots for virtually every other airline except your own sees you as pond scum. Perhaps reading things like this will help convince future would-be G0Jets pilots that its not as easy as you may think.

So why didn't you spout off to him and tell him what you think?? You sound like one of those whinny little Bi@tches who throw rocks at others here, but you don't have the gumption to say it to his face!!!!

Looking at your profile, it appears you just signed up, or did you?? Is this profile your stone throwing profile, so others won't know who you are?? And since when are you a mind reader??

How do you know what his fellow riders were thinking?? For all you know, the gate agents or rampers may have been thinking about booze or better yet getting laid!!!! How do you know they weren't looking at you saying, "That guy looks like a real DORK!!!!"

Why don't you grow up, I'll bet you're the same clown blocking radio calls, thinking you are cool!! In some wierd way, what goes around comes around!! I'm not condoning him working for an alter-ego, but come on, grow up!!!!

I'm done ranting now, Beer me!!!!

Why don't you grow up,

Reread some of what you just typed. Your post has the maturity level of a high school kid. Yet you are telling someone else they need to grow up?

When you see these people, you need to let them know how you feel. They deserve no respect. Speak up, tell them what scum they are, question their decesion to go to work for these bastards. I am yet to run into one but I can't wait for the day I do.
As a side note, has anyone had any of these guys try to jumpseat? Just curious how they get to work. If it is driving, I hope you STL guys notice what they are driving and give them what the deserve. They are bringing us all down and in my eyes they need to come down with us. If this was a blue collar union their houses would be burning.

You want to find some of these low-lifes?The DoubleTree in STL is crawling with them. So is the FlightSafety there. They scurry around with their badges turned backward to avoid the stares.

And yes, I have talked to them, however briefly. It was truly painful to see how low the company has gone to find these...uh...aviators? You wouldn't believe it unless you saw and heard them for yourselves. One chick was so fat I'm certain the CRJ will take a weight penalty at any temperature above 3 degrees celsius with her aboard. One turd of a fellow tried to tell me that "a lot of TSA guys were coming to fly with them". I'm not sure which hallucinogenic the pre-employment drug test missed but this rat was clearly delusional.

Here, Here,,,

I applaude you sir for having the b@lls to say it to their face!! However, will it make them turn in their resignation tomorrow?? Probably not!! Atleast you had the insestinal fortitude to speak your mind, not hide behind a bogus user name!!!

So what's next, vandalizing someone's property, are you going to torch their car?? Better yet their house or apartment??? Then what, harm or injury someone else!! Then YOU will get what YOU deserve, a felony criminal conviction, which will disqualify you from getting a part 121 flying job, which in turn will prevent the rest of us from having to fly with YOU!!!

Of course, you are probably just another naysayer with a big mouth!!!

Yes, yes you are. Do you work for G0Jets by chance? Or do you have your application in with them? Its either that or you're an ex-Freedom scum.

Nice try lad, neither!! I just don't understand how you guys can advocate violence or justify the other shenanigans that go on?? For you guy's to get into an airplane with the FAA take check rides then act so silly and irresponsible is mind boggling!!!!

It amazes me how some of you can justify these actions!!!!

I SOOOO want to go work for gjts right now. Just to pi$$ of tools like you guys.

Life is easy when you have a scapegoat, isn't it?
Well do it then. No one is stopping you. Thats assuming that they would hire you to begin with, which is quite an assumption.

Get educated.

Every Air Line Pilot from the beginning to today is blue collar labor.

Learn it. Know it. Live it.

The Air Line Pilots: A Study in Elite Unionization by G. Hopkins is a good start for you and everyone else....

Well, depending on how you look at it all "labor" can be considered "blue collar". Hell, just about anything outside of management can be considered "blue collar". Considering the amount of training required to become a professional pilot, I think we can be held a notch above your average blue collared bus drivers and toll booth workers. I think this is what the guy above was saying, and he is right, those work groups can get pretty intense when it comes to labor issues. Don't take everything so literally, no one here is impressed with your "education".

Whatever. I'm just sick of all this adolescent chest-thumping.

Either beat them up or shut your traps. Show us how real "union men" get 'r done.

Car vandalisim in the Springdale lot in STL. That would be a first.

I find it more sporting to park at Wellston/Delmar/Rock Road and walk from there. It's good exercise.

I think the people who go work for Blowjets are very uninformed. It is no excuse to accept a job not knowing what you're getting yourself into, that is ignorance. They didn't do their research before accepting the job and probably was just happy that they are flying for an airline. They have no idea what they've gotten themselves into, it will be very difficult for them to get another airline job. I haven't seen any of them jumpseat yet, but I'm sure a lot are getting denied.

Look on the brightside, ever since this Blowjets bashing started, the Mesa guys are off the hook.

ROTFLMAO.

You guys are pathetic! "Telepathic waves of scorn?" THAT'S THE BEST YOU CAN DO?

Hey, if any one DID anything, (like physical contact), he'd have your butt arrested for assult the second you reached the terminal. Kiss your career goodbye.

If you argue with him = better cower and cover YOUR badge, because respective management groups will be getting calls about employee harassment and disciplinary action will ensue. Much easier to terminate YOU than to fight an expensive legal battle protecting your right to be an a$$hole in their uniforms on the way to work. Kiss your career goodbye.

Hold your head high, Mr. Discount Airline pilot guy, because you're holding all the cards (well, until management stabbs you in the back, remerges the companies, and staples you to the bottom).
