Yeap, good stuff.

I had a Mormon tell me one time that my father (who had passed away less then a year prior) was in "Spirit Prison" up in one of their heavenly tiers, and he'd remain there "Until he gives in and is converted by one of the Mormons that are up there for the purpose of converting lost souls."

My father spent his whole life in church, and was active up till the morning he passed away. To hear that was one of the most insensitive and insulting things I've ever been told.

Very classy...

Bottom line is this = Your friend should not have said that. It is not up to us to decide or pass judgement on someone else. Where your dad is or will be is up to him and God.

Having said that we do believe there is only one church here on earth at this time that possesses all the teachings and powers necessary to perform acts (baptism, blessings, sacrament, etc.) in His name. That's our message....its up to you to decide if you believe it or not.

If you believe that Heavenly Father is "happy" with the thousands of different religions in the world then explain to me why the 1st thing Christ did when he started his earthly ministry was to call his apostles, set up His church, and then instruct these 12 men EXACTLY how to run the church. He also charged them with traveling through the country and correcting people who were teaching false doctrine or running thier churches contrary to Christ's set way.

As I have said several times now, you will NEVER see the LDS church bad mouthing a different religion. One of our most fundamental beliefs is the right every man has to worship who, where, or what they may.

You folks are the ones who seem to enjoy trying to bash others who don't believe as yourself.

by the way homie....your avatar, while trying to be rude, is actually a compliment. Thanks.
Word homie :pimp:... you've commented on the avatar twice now already!

I've received 4 or 5 PM's from LDS members complaining about it, saying its disrespectful, and is poking fun at your religion, and I need take it down.

Take it how you'd like. ;)

Thanks for your constructive replies. Tell me this though, how can you believe god is from another planet? I bet God is really happy with that one. And tell me more about those 3 stages of heaven?

That "I can't, I'm mormon" is a bunch of bull$hit. Some of the best pu$$y I've ever gotten was from a mormon girl.

Once in private, they're as normal as any girl.

I hear that! Some of the wildest and craziest sex I've ever had in my life was from a Mormon girl I dated for 2.5 years! That chick was da BOMB! Never met a girl quite like her since...

What is your exact religion?

There are people of various commitment levels in every religion.

Thanks for your honest questions. Unfortunatly, you have read or been told parts of truths or have had them explained in a twisted way.

I'm short on time right now but I will answer your questions in detail here tomorrow.

"Things to do in Mormon Land?"

Just back from U55 - not much there, nice bottle of wine at Ruby's and crashed early.

Baja.

Are you sure you don't want to re-think that response.

Take sex for example. every body in the world, I don't care what you say, has a basic need for sex. Just look at the majority of catholic priests. Not only are they having sex, but they are homo's.

Most people in the world believe in a supreme being of some sort. But behind closed doors, people will naturally satisfy their needs as nature calls. Does that mean they're not christian? NO. But in real legit religions, God does not ask us or expect us to do unrelistic things.

My best friend is mormon. He says mormons aren't allowed to pleasure themselves. I've finially dragged the truth out of that bonehead and he's admitted to spanking the monkey since he discovered that he could do it.
I guarantee you rico, you did it when you were 16 and probably still do it on overnights today. Everybody does.

:D

If you want to "class" me in a religion, you could say that I am personally Non-Denominational.
Religion is man made. I read the bible, that's all I need. All of the quirks that give every specific religion a bad name are from the the different religions, not the bible itself.
What I believe focuses on the bible, not the idiosyncrasies of specific religions.
Instead of worrying about the baptist's not being allowed to dance, or the catholics spitting out kids left and right because they can't use condoms, or mormons falling asleep at the yoke because they're not allowed to drink coffee is redicilous.

You mormons think unless you're mormon, you'll get into some "lower level of heaven" or some $hit like that is totally bull$hit.
I personally feel that if you believe in God, and that if you believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins, then you're getting into Heaven. These overachieving bible thumpers who take their religion to the extreme with the hopes of being a higher status in Heaven is bull$hit.
Trust me, if you believe in God, and believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins, you'll be in Heaven right beside me, mormon or not. That's the beauty of not being tied to a specific religion.

I always wondered what happend to my tithing and fast offerings, I was told they went to build churches, feed the hungry, and do good in the world.

Aye, there's the rub. Is it important that you sacrifice, or sacrifice to the CJCLDS? Would your temple reccomend still be valid if you gave 10% to the Red Cross, a noble cause, or directly to the poor? Is there a full public accounting of the church assets? Follow the money, it has been known to periodically corrupt.

Think, question, and challenge your faith.... does it pass the common sense test? Many have, and have come to the conclusion it can be "no other way".
