The problem with this video is that it divides the two pilot groups. Why illustrate the far worst case scenario possible? If the Airtran MEC put out a video of justifying the need for straight relative seniority, because it is a "possibility", how would that make the SW pilots feel? Probably a bit disappointed that the MEC found the need to be so divisive. There are endless possibilities and it is destructive to culture to have videos like this that demonstrate the worst case scenarios. Tell me how this is a positive video?
That's exactly right.

Their "worst case" scenario for AirTran pilots could be countered by a "worst case" scenario for Southwest pilots that, as equally POSSIBLE in the same way the video's scenario, isn't very likely, BUT THERE'S NO NEED TO STIR THE POT WITH IT.

The SWAPALUV video that's out was tweeted by a SWAPA SPC member. So, for better or worse, SWAPA, if not ORIGINATING the video, has at least put their stamp of approval on the video, which is unfortunate.

And no, I'm not going to tell our pilots to look at your SWAPALUV site for "accurate" information. We have our own website for accurate information, thanks.

Com'on step away from the crack pipe!

Does anyone not expect arbitration in any merger/aquisition scenario? Accept it, accept the arbitrated award when it happens, and move on with your lives.

Lear,

Some type of relative SLI is SWAPA's WORST case scenario. What's AT ALPA's?

edited: due to the fact that arguing about this is a waste of time. Have fun throwing feces back and forth with the Delta boys, see you guys at the party on the 2nd!

Actually our worst case is relative seniority. Best case is relative seniority adjusted for our anticipated 35% growth, had it not been for being bought out.
