i cant believe their are such dorks out there....come on man.....enjoy your life.

yes, I am preparing...but I was being a little sarcastic with that comment. Just excited about getting there.

I enjoy every second of my life. I don't get on message boards and degrade other peoples work habits....especially good ones.

BTW...what would you do if you were stuck in a hotel room for three days and starting at SWA in 10 days?

1-2-3!!!!!! I don't have that yet...but I will.

.

24 hour porn, roomservice, don't pay on checkout and stick the old company with the bill. My old airline could just pay it with the portion of sick bank never used and never paid out when I left.

Hired in January. New hire line in MDW for March, OAK for April, BWI for May and June, hoping to get MDW in July.
Regarding the 1-2-3 rule, I hear newhires arent allowed to drink while in training anymore. Too much Tomfoolery going on. All yall need to get serious! ;) I don't think that the systems test the first day is all that fair either.

Don't understand?

Why the base jumping from MDW to OAK to BWI? Please explain the system. Your not just assigned a base and you stay there until you can hold what you want?

Thanks, Porch

My base choices are as such: MDW, DAL, HOU, BWI, MCO, PHX, OAK.
I was very junior in my class.
I was awarded MDW out of training because training scheduling gives you a line of flying out of the base closest to your home, if they can, to get you up to speed. You arent subject to any seniority issues.
Then the following month, April, I got what I could hold - OAK. I was the most juniorist pilot flying. Juniority?
Then for May I couldn't hold MDW so I got BWI only because it's closer to home - a two hour flight from MDW versus 4:40. Still could not hold MDW in June so I held BWI. MDW should open up in July. I just have HOU and DAL in there because if I can't be in MDW I might as well be in the center of the universe.
